The garden bed area looks so much nicer! Love the sweet pic of you and Nate 😊How sweet of Beth, so very kind! You really do make our days better with your movies❤
Those berries are black raspberries. They are my favorite to grow and eat. Love your heart, tenderness and kindness- also, and how your love for God and family seems to be one of the foundations for your channel- it’s so refreshing and my favorite garden channel.
Jes, your channel is so sweet and refreshing. I especially love how you share your faith and always are acknowledging His goodness, grace, and mercy! Nate has won my heart over, too, just as much. He's a prince! I absolutely loved it when your sweet family was singing together at the pool party. So heart harming and such a beautiful picture of love!
What a wonderful kind surprise Beth! Jess your kindness is contagious! I agree with other comments it’s sweet to see little snippets of your hubby and family. You did a fantastic job with this area of the garden. They are going to takeoff in that spot!
Jess tell Nate he did a wonderful job filming. I just love when he jumps in and helps you with whatever you are doing. I remember when my husband could help out with everything I was doing in our yard. He has emphysema and a raised diaphragm and on 6 liters of oxygen. I really miss those days. It's just so special when you have a little help doing the things you love together. Can't wait to see how beautiful everything grows in. Beth definitely gave you a wonderful surprise. I absolutely love when your viewers reach out and send you something special for your gorgeous garden. Wish I could still work like you in my yard . I just have to do everything a little slower now. Thank you again for sharing everything that you do with all of us. You absolutely make our days and life so much better with sharing yours and Nate's hard work on your property. Much love from SC, see you in your next movie 🤗💓💕💞
Hi Jes, how beautiful your cut flower beds turned out. That area looks neat and tidy. ❤ That was so sweet of your Texas's friend.😊❤ Thank you Jes, for the movie 🎬 I always look forward to your movies thanks for sharing them. Until next time God's blessings ❤ please tell Coco I sure miss her movies 😊❤
Such a big difference! It's always amazing how good it feels to get a project like that completed when you look back at what it was before. Great job! Hopefully now you'll find yourself going to that area more because you enjoy it and everything that once struggled with thrive.
Beth that was so sweet and thoughtful of you.. I’m not sure if I come here more for flowers or music.. your music has been so wonderful to listen to.. of course we can’t forget our peeks at Nate.. you both have a beautiful home.. thank you for sharing your journey with us ❤️🌸❤️
Awe, thanks for posting the sweet photo of you two! I am still hoping for you to tell us about your love story. :) I love how the cut flower garden beds look. YOu are so creative.
Your new cut flower beds look so great! I agree, those looked like black raspberries to me. So lucky (you and the wildlife) to have those growing in your yard with easy access. :-) Fresh berries, corn, watermelon, and peaches are what summer is all about for me. Enjoy your harvest!
JES, First I Loved the Pic of you & Nate!! Too Cute! The Cut Flower Garden is Looking Awesome! The Gravel is Hard Work. It Looks SOO TIDY! The Hostas will look Super once they Spill Over. Never, Ever Miss an Episode, You Inspire Me & of Course your Singing is the BONUS!! Love & Hugs from Yuma, Arizona 👍🩷🌺🌺🌸🌸🌿🌱🙏🙏
Beautiful picture of you & Nate, my favorite utube couple & channel. Your movie is the first one I look for & watch each morning. Your garden before & after is amazing , thank you Nate for filming, love you guys 🇺🇸🧑🌾😊
You & Nate look so Nice!! You’re a Very Good Looking Couple!, You raised bed area looks So Good!!! I love doing yard work, and then reward myself with flowers!! Very Nice to see you do the same thing!!
Iv been watching you for a year now, I love your gardens and it’s given me many ideas for my gardens. I made a shade garden with mostly hostas. Thanks to watching you do a Hosta tour last year of your gardens. 😊 ( the bouquets you made for your brother’s wedding were gorgeous!)
Everything turned out really pretty Jes, a lot of hard work for sure, Nate did a great job on your raised beds, such a sweet couple 💙🩷 have a wonderful blessed day 🙏🏻😇🇺🇸🌷🌸🌺🌞
Enjoy watching you plant and replant your flowers! You have the most amazing gardens, and imagination to make it all come together in beauty! You visited Cherry Valley Gardens, and I thought that the Instagram lady gardener that I watch is Tracy with Plaids and Poppies. She must live nearby your house, since she thinks that's the best garden center. SE Pennsylvania
Thanks for sharing the picture of you and Nate. He’s smiling 😊 cute couple. You are so funny 😊I love your garden. Yes my cute little bunnies ate all my Hostas that I started from bare root last year. I’m sure they will come back; however it’s aggravating. But the bunnies are so darn cute I can’t be mad.
I love buying plants on sale. My local Walmart and lowes had a bunch of perennials for $2 a piece. And although they weren’t the best they will totally pop back after being planted. Your garden bed area is so pretty.
Oh yes Jes ! You’re going to be doing wedding flowers now😊 I can see it coming.😳 You Stirling work and it’s great to watch someone with the mindset to get it done. Great content as per usual. Bernard.
Those are black raspberries and they make the most delious pies !! I'm with you I detest landscape fabric, it creates quite a mess later on !! OMG Beth that was soo sweet of you !! Jess that area looks sooo nice !!
I love that you placed the hosta in the back! That's a perfect spot for them. The makeover of your garden spot looks fabulous! Maybe you could get a few other climbing roses to plant next to those ones that they could climb together.
Looks great. You had a busy hard working few days getting it all done. But it is well worth it. And you can save zinnia seeds for next yr.. 😊 Seeing those black raspberries brought back memories. When I was growing up (in a heavy wooded area near a lake) there were berries along the road entering the area. It was Summer tradition to pick them. We ate them with milk & sugar or on ice cream. And my gramma(who lived beside us) made jelly. I still look for them on country cruises. (the country have sprayed the ones by that old road. grrr) But they are hard to find.
Black Raspberries....they make a wonderful Jam, also, if you like fruit Liquor....they also make a heavenly Liqueur. If you're interested how, lmn. You n have to tell so where you buy your flowers $30.00 is outrageously cheap for all that...it would cost more than double here in Minnesota. I think I may need to make a flower run to Michigan!!!!
If it's going to be a cutting garden long term. have you considered growing Sweet Peas [Lathyrus] on the trellis? You can grow annual or perennial varieties, or a mixture of both. I don't know enough about the Michigan climate, but, In most of the U.K. the perennial variety is fully hardy and the annual variety with its large variety of colours [ sown in March and planted out in May after being hardened off] will bloom most of the summer [if we get one!] if picked regularly. It's my wife's favourite cutflower and it makes the house smell very fragrant!
where do you get all your smaller rocks? I just teared up listening to you read the note! how sweet of Beth! Do you know Beth or is she a random follower?!
Good morning! Another informative video! Thanks! I must ask, how do you all keep your pool secure from a child or toddler from climbing in? We had a similar setup but had to gate the desk landing.
I could but I like it open! I’m hoping that the bunny won’t be in next year. This is the first year they have been bad but maybe I’ll change my mind lol 😂
Thanks! I water everything in when I planted it. And then I just let it go and let nature do its thing. We do have underground sprinkling for our grass and some of my gardens get hit by that so that helps.
Jes! Your garden looks beautiful. I’m having issues with rabbits eating my plants as well. Can you tell me the name of the product you are using for the rabbits? Thanks.
No I don’t use that. I don’t really fertilize much unless I see a bag of fertilizer on sale. I’ll grab it. I am blessed with good soil. And I like to buy plants that don’t need me to fuss with them all the time. ❤
It’s a bottle of spray or powder. You can get it from any box store or Amazon. It’s not harmful to plants or animals, but the smell I think detours the deer and rabbits. I use the powder form. It works really well for me.
That fertilizer is organic so it’s okay. But I went through and sprayed it off when I water. It’s easier for me to do that! And the plants do just fine for me ❤
