I don't blame them. Spright and evil twins end board is just straight up oppressive with being able to easily set up Scythe lock, spell negates, monster negates, card destruction card banishment and nightmare gryphon which stops all nonlinked monster effects.

Sorry man but if I have no interactions and any Spright variation gets full combo I'm just gonna go next unless I have the exact card to beat them going second

If only Konami *didn't* introduce negate or limited the negate effect to spell or trap only

I was thinking more mekk-knights with spright was be pretty cool and powerful

I played from bronze to gold 1 and only lost to connection failure and to spright tri-brigade. That version otks like crazy and the handtraps hurts. Then again I probably could have won that game if I didn't have the worst hand, but they just kept going and going with their turn.

Yes it works well without scythe. Im currently D2 with EVIL SPRIGHTS (as i call it) and i do not play scythe or iblee, you still have enogh disruptions to slow your opponents down a lot

As of the condition of MD right now I had to go with scythe since it's either I'm playing or they playing. Tho when I see rogue deck like Solfa, Lyrilusc and Blue eyes I'll restrict myself from popping scythe even tho I've set it up.

Have you played with or against any decks in master duel? Almost every deck has like 3x Maxx C, 3x Ash Blossom, 3x Imperm, maybe some other ghost girls, veiler, and droplet. Remove those 9000 hand traps from every deck then we have a whoever goes 1st win game even more then our currently going 1st win game. All decks need the hand traps so we can actually play yugioh otherwise the going 1st opponent will set up an almost unbeatable board and your surrender. P.S: Maxx C should be banned.

You don't need a single handtrap, this style is disgustingly good.

Worst part is, every variation of evil twins is expensive. But yeah spright/pure is just ridiculous how many URs it needs...

not really, there are 10 archetype UR's total, the rest are able to be used in generic decks such as the hand traps, but it is still expensive, 300 UR points for the spright and Evil twin package. EDIT, 37 UR total used, 1080 UR points for this example. ouch.

@@galaxyvulture6649 Agree with the UR bit, but as for the latter part, they can react to everything but in limited quantity. You can still break through in certain scenarios, though some decks just die to Scythe lock unfortunately.

@@twillij29 Ikr scythe lock is super cancerous. I use scythe lock and so far I only ever lost to other splight decks, connection fails (im stuck in gold 1 cause every duel it happens now), and super bricks which is rare. I think albaz and splight definitely are the best decks out rn and even if scythe gets banned they'll still be on top.

Literally just increase your playback speed on the video and it’s the same thing if it bothers you that much
