Genki is a very loving mother gorilla.
Although Genki is a bit strict with Momotaro (laughs)
She is now taking very good care of Kintaro.
Now she is taking very good care of Kintaro, so it seems that Gentaro sometimes seems to hold back.

The Momotaro family were all born and raised in Japan!
Momotaro (father) was born on October 18, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.
Gentaro (eldest son), born on December 21, 2011
Momotaro and Genki's first child
Kintaro (second son) born December 19, 2018
The baby gorilla who is an idol.
I use Canon DSLRs for all of my shooting equipment.

Genki and Kintaro need a spa day. Kintaro only because he's nursing. They get to stay inside all day, and eat all the lemon grass and other stuff she wants. Momo and Gentaro get to be outside together all day! Suppose that would upset the balance? Just a thought.

3:35 The bond between mother and baby gorilla is extremely strong. 4:08 Pretty 🌸 Genki has the strength of 7-10 men, but she's gentle as a dove and very nurturing. Hands down she is by far the best gorilla mama there is! 😌

Happy Mother's Day, Genki! Great compilation showing what a protective and caring mother is mama Genki. Sometimes Kintaro would ride on her back or cling to her belly. But mostly he clung to her arm and this amazing gorilla mother had to do everything one armed.

Genki is my favourite gorilla in the world to watch, Kintero a close 2nd. I bet by his demeanor, he is growing up to be just like his beautiful mama. I just love her the very attentive mom, and so sweet. I love Momo and Gentaro too! They are my favourite gorilla family to watch. I have to watch them at least for 30 minutes before i go to bed each night, i find it so calming. Now if Momo can just get his wife pregnant again, maybe with a little girl next time? Hopefully prince Kintaro won't be too jealous of the next kid. lol

Genki Is by far the most loving and amazing mother. She’s a better mother then most humans. I know they are just Animals but watching this mother with her child makes me think of my own Loving and protective mother. Nothing like being in your mom’s arms when sick and afraid. ❤🦍🦍🦍🦍

What ever happened to that abcess that was on her face ?? This video was taken ten months ago . Fast forward ,,, don't see it on her face lately . Also in this video she was probably experiencing tooth ache 👍 Kenny also sence something is wrong with his mom . This is a compilation of older videos. The zoo is in lockdown. I am sure they will look after her soon but kintaro still very attached to mom, her gone for a few hours will surly distress him and also he is not fully weaned. The zoos do love their animals. stay safe

This is an older video,but a good one showing genki holding on tight to kintaro,but wishing he could get away and play.Genki still 🚼 gentaro by checking his fingers,and gentaro was happy for the attention.Finally,kintaro was able get a piggy back ride by gentaro.

No ponto 2:48 a 3:50 aproximadamente, Mama Genki foge com o gorducho Kintaro,dos ataques do ciumento e revoltado Gentaro. Carregando Kintaro nas costas,senta numa sombra pra descansar...Kintaro,olha ao redor...amedrontado com os ataques de Gentaro...coça a cabeça desanimado e por fim, cerra os lábios e fica assim por uns instantes,indignado, cansado de fugir e se esconder da fúria do irmão mais velho...desde bebezinho.Que luta,meu Deus, pra sobreviver! Is it ever okay to let the gorilla family eat fresh fruits like bananas, oranges, red apples or other color kind? Can they eat seedless grapes, chew some kinds of shelled nuts like walnuts?

Какой же смешной Кентаро. Пользуется безотказной любовью своей мамы. Мама и на руку его посадит, и к животу прилепит и на спину посадит. Кентаро не покажет, что он сам быстро бегает, карабкается по гладкой стене. Пользуется любовью мамы катается на ней, как маленький. Жалко маму. Она беременная, все время хочет спать, а малышу жестом не покажет, что он большой и хватит маму эксплуатировать.

Самочки у.них беременеют раз в четыре-пять лет, а.Кентаро только в декабре будет три годика. Если я ошибаюсь- поправьте меня

@@user-nk1cr5iu8l Считатать ни самочки , ни самцы не умеют, поэтому и по исполнении ребенку 3-х лет это может случиться. У горилл в семье против воли ничего не делается, поэтому все зависит от поведения самочки. Самец в этом разберется.

All baby gorillas have a white fluff on their bottoms that identifies they are under a certain age to the elders which allows them to get away with most of their childish antics. The white fluff I believe starts to leave around the age of four years of age. The older gorillas marks are most likely worn areas from sitting on the cement flooring. If you see the wild older gorillas, they do not have these worn areas on their bottom but the babies will have their little white fluff marking.

Аааааа, я с него тащусь. Какая прелесть)) он просто маленький ангел✌️👏👍😂 а Гентаро ревнивец)) ему трудно понять, что у Генки на первом месте малютка Какой у Генки знатный живот)) упитанная дама. Жуёт не останавливается)) Не пойму, как люди могли почти полностью истребить этих животных. Они же так прекрасны. Просто чудо природы. Заглядение. Они же божественные существа. У них повадки ближе людских. Им цены нет. Без ума от них просто За истребление этих существ, я бы ввёл длительный тюремный срок, вплоть до казни. Уж извините за жестокость. Но глядя на них.... Кем надо быть, чтобы довести до красной книги?

Genki needs to be put on a serious diet, her gut is ridiculously huge. Genki also needs to be put in with other females, it's unfair to the silverback that he has just ONE mate because dumb Genki refuses to get along with other females. She should be forced to get along, that or have her food taken away until she decides to do so. It's VERY VERY unfair to Gentaro as he has been abandoned by his mother in favor of her younger son, and he has nobody to turn to as he has no siblings as Genki refused to have other females in the troop, which means no playmates for Gentaro. UNFAIR. Stupid Genki.

He taro was taken away from his mom,for health reason some gorilla moms don’t take back kids hand raised. SHe took Gentaro back. She does love him even lashing out at momontRo if he gets too rough with gentaro. Geeking has been thru a lot. Calling her dumb is uncalled for.
