TOTALLY for a video on tool sanitation/cleaning. It would round out your pedicure series and be super helpful! Thank you for always keeping it real with the hygiene videos--keeps things super relatable. 😅
I've been loving doing my own pedicure, especially with the pandemic, I lowkey feel like they come out better than the salon 👀. I'm just working on perfecting cuticle care
This is what I need. I'm considering transitioning to at-home manis and pedis bc acrylics have destroyed my nails AND I need to save money. Thank you for inspo, education and aesthetics :)
I live in Nicaragua, life's getting very expensive here, and everywhere I know, I'll try to make my own home spa by getting the most basic good quality tools you recommend. You have helped me do my nails before and they look good.
I've literally been diving deep into your older videos trying to perfect doing my pedicures. I tried one yesterday actually, and felt like I just wasn't getting it right. Bought one of those callous shavers, girl can we say scared lol Seeing this video motivation not to give up. Thanks so much for sharing 😊
OMG! I need those silicone socks!! I been using grocery bags with socks over them for YEARS! My feet are baby soft after I condition them with oil! Thanks for the upload!
Wow! Love the close ups (idk how u do it) but loved it! All the instruments and insights you tell us always here for them 🤓 love the editing! Even your sponsor section lol
THANK YOU! I have a glass file and I was grinding FOR EV ER and barely doing a thing lmao. I need a coarser file to do the heavy lifting and the glass file for finishing. I do find it's really great for around the back of my foot, up my ankle, over the top of my foot, and even over and around my toes and cuticles. It's gentle enough for more sensitive areas! Bonus - removes toe hair lmao.
Woooooah, silicone socks????? I've been wondering if they made something like this!!! 😃😃😃 Always been frustrated to lose half of the product in regular sock fabric.
Yes! still recommend that one, but u know i love a reusable option so i dont have to bother buying refills of the grit paper. They got my heart 😅 and my bag! 💰
Thank youuuuu! I've been so lazy and not wanting to spend money at the salon since having a little one. Hubby said if I get the tools, he'll do a pedi for me to save us some $$$ :))
i'm about to get into doing my own toe nails, so this vid was perfect. I can't believe I have been putting nail polish directly on my toes, even tho I know how toxic it is smh, but that cuticle oil trick was GENIUS af!!
Thank you for an amazing and educational video, I am always looking for great tools to get the best pedis and this is just what I needed! Thank you for sharing!
Glass files have been my jam for my nails for years so having one for my feet will make me extremely happy 😁. That file gave great results and thank you so much A💗💗 for this plus I'm looking forward to more of these with the warmer weather coming because I only do at home mani/pedis🤗.
Thank you so much for this video! I bought myself a glass footfile, different brand because I'm in Australia, it's called Peacci Smooth Pedicure File and I got it from ASOS for about $30. It's obviously not as course, so it takes a while, but it's very pleasant to use.
Your feet are always extremely beautiful (even with dry skin!) and your pedicure /exfoliation videos always the very best on YT! And, of course, always mesmerizing is watching your fabulous soles up close throughout the exfoliation, filing process!!!
That turned out beautiful as always 😉 I need to start on my feet immediately , I've been slacking AND I KNOW you taught me better than that lol 🤣 but I need you go back and watch your video on ingrown toenail ,I have one and 😲😲 lol .tfs 🙏🏼🤗
products are on the blog. link’s in the description box ✨ Ive only done like 1 or 2 gel pedicures cause i tend to want to change my color more often and soaking off gel is a hassle
OMG!!!! Where in the world did you get that cuticle nipper cover???? I have paw prints 🐾 everywhere & would LOVE to get that! Love your videos & how detailed you are about not cutting or clipping live tissue . I’m currently a nail tech student & find your videos super informative!! 💜
Come one segue into the SquareSpace promo! So smooth! Loved the vid and sharing your tools is so helpful. In your instagram manicure routine you have the electric drill/filer- is there a video I can shop that vlog for?
glad u enjoyed it! 😊 you can find those tools here: bio.site/abetweene this link is also in my instagram bio, so anytime i post, itll be updated with links to what im using. 😉
my favorite was from bernadette thompson but im pretty sure they discontinued or renamed it. So id say look up brands Mented, Pear Nova, and La Pierre Cosmetics for inclusive shades
Ooopolish black owned has a range of nudes..she makes gel sells uv lights and traditional polish as well having a sale on gel rt now and discounted shipping so hurry the girls dont play !!
i have a corn on 3 toes that keep building up, then i have to use a corn patch, peel them, they’re red, then just build up again. if anyone has tips on that, would be super helpful.
heeey, could u maybe do a gel manicure tutorial for those trendy pinterest nails with the swirls? thanks for all u do, i’ve been loving ur content for years!
btw im fully aware the styles are not identical, just the fact that they all have swirls but i figured you might like one or the other better so i posted 3 different ones :) if you do manage to make a video about this that’d be cool cause these are really difficult to master (for me at least). anyways thanks for engaging and replying, you’re so nice! 🥺💜
Thank you for the Great tips ! What cuticle oil do you use and the light color you used in this video ? Do you recommend a specific base and top coat ?
What kind of clippers are you using? I like that they give a straight cut. And what oil are you using to clean the cuticles @ 6:02 ? Definitely in need of a pedicure this weekend! 🦶🏼💗
its an ingrown toenail clipper. The cuticle remover is a korean brand i buy online. theyre usually mostly detergent so you could just push cuticles back after soaking in soap & water. everything im using can be found on my blog; its linked in the description box.
The skin grows back because whatever caused it in the first place keeps causing it. the only thing that grows back thicker are bones after you break them
@Mallory that can happen so some of us should limit filing often. (Dr Dray has a video about dry feet explaining why). I would recommend using Kerasal ointment. It's at Target and Walmart for $8. It has urea and salicylic acid to slowly exfoliate callous and it softens dry cracked feet. I'm going to check out the silicone socks too. Hope this helps!
