In this exciting Gravel Bound video, we embarked on a beach adventure to Ocean Shores, Washington. The sandy beaches and unique sights made for a unique experience, different from the forests and mountains usually featured on our trips. We explored the beach trail, surrounded by the soothing sound of the surf. The weather was perfect, with a cool breeze and temperatures around 60 degrees, providing a refreshing change from the usual hot beach visits.
To make our trip more comfortable, we decided to upgrade from camping and rented a condo at the Canterbury Inn. The condo was clean, dog-friendly, and well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen. The view from the bedroom's large picture window overlooked the green space behind the resort, creating a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed strolling along the shoreline, with the only sounds being the ocean's roar and the melodies of the birds. Ocean Shores also had its unique charm, with pirate flags and a large population of deer adding to the enchanting experience.
One of the highlights was driving our personal vehicle directly onto the miles of free public beach access. We relished the sound of the crashing waves and the picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean. After a day of exploration, we indulged in delicious fish and chips from Bennett's Fish House. The trip ended on a peaceful note, with a relaxing stay at the condo and sightings of a coyote casually wandering near the grassy area. The tranquility of the Pacific shoreline and the anticipation of future adventures left us yearning to return to Ocean Shores.
