Lucy: Thank you for posting these videos and keeping them up after all these years. I often think back to when I saw this at age 22, and what this musical meant to me. Still my most memorable experience in a theater. These videos never fail to make me smile :)
Thanks so much for posting these, Lucy... I saw the US tour seven times, but the vid clips of the UK cast absolutely blow me away, how awesome you guys are. I'm jealous of my friend from Germany who got to see the show at the Novello; you really need to re-group and record a British cast album of SA.... the harmonies give me chills..!!
12 years later I’m still coming back for the harmony. God I wish someone had recorded the actual London show and I’m very upset there was never a soundtrack. I’ve seen the New York show three or four times. They never came close to the harmonies the London cast did. You London cast were sublime. NYC, good as they were, can’t touch your vocals & 3 part harmonies. I wish one of you had snuck a recording of the whole thing. Hint hint, cough cough, Lucy May? Cough.
