Hi all! Today I'm doing a quick Spring bedroom refresh where I'll share some bedroom decorating ideas on a budget! I'll also be doing a little bit of cleaning for spring.
I'm starting with my bedroom and my first step is to wash all my bedding, including the duvet and pillowcases. I try to make sure this is done weekly, but sometimes it stretches to two weeks. While my bedding is in the wash. I've noticed that my bedroom gets dusty pretty easily, probably because I have a lot of dark furniture. I usually use warm water and a microfiber cloth to wipe down everything like my nightstands, lamps, windowsills, and TV.
I'm also rearranging and cleaning some of my frames. Instead of buying new decorations for spring, I find that cleaning and rearranging things gives me just as much satisfaction. I even found a frame I'd forgotten about in my garage and got it printed at Walgreens for a quick and easy new addition to my bedroom decor.
Lastly, I'm cleaning my windows because my kids have a habit of licking them (gross, I know). With the sun finally out in California, we're excited to enjoy some warm weather!
