The OFFSET clause instructs SQL to skip a certain number of rows before returning the result set. For instance, consider the SQL query: SELECT * FROM employee ORDER BY id LIMIT 100 OFFSET 3; In this query, the OFFSET is set to 3, meaning it will skip the first three rows before returning the result set. As a result, the response will include rows starting from the 4th row up to the 104th row. Typically, you calculate the OFFSET by multiplying the limit (also known as pageSize) with the pageNumber.
