I'm so glad I've found you and appreciate your videos. Please keep it up. :) One question I have is, don't we need "container.stop()" as well at somewhere than ApplicationContextInitializer? What should the best place to free up all resources used after all tests?

Thanks Brendan. The Testcontainers library uses ryuk container to manage the container and clean up the container once test execution is done. So no need to explicitly stop.

Test containers will definitely make writing unit tests simple. I am thinking of switching to it especially after breaking changes in H2 version 2. For each new test class, will the test container use already downloaded image or will it download fresh one? Thanks for the tutorial!

If the image with required tag is downloaded once it will NOT download again.
