The Rest is Politics podcast brought me here. As a regular member of the public, I found this budget explanation very insightful.

Paul Johnson is simply excellent. I wonder how he is able to digest and react to budgets in real time. The Tories should not be cutting taxes, they should cut debt and invest in productivity so wages can rise, which will generate extra revenues.
