Oregon’s south central high country is home to one of the most beautiful spring creeks in the United States. The Yamsi Ranch is a third-generation working cattle ranch located at the headwaters of the Williamson River near Chiloquin, Oregon. John Hyde works on the family owned cattle ranch, and he guides anglers on the brook and rainbow trout-filled headwaters of the Williamson River. This video captures Hyde’s unique lifestyle here, off the grid and running on solar power and personal generators. This area is one of the most beautiful and special places I’ve been able to film, and I was lucky to catch a brilliant sunset that quickly became one of many highlights of my trip.
