I believe your bud vase is a perfume bottle. The frosted glass at the top inside ridge is a hint, it had a bottle stopper at one point. But you have repurposed it and that's all that matters. A new life. You have a great eye for decorating because you have a great passion for time gone by items, you possess an appreciation for timeless treasures.

Great haul. I loved the copper lamp. The little broom and spade were used to brush away the little bits and pieces on the table after meals.

Sweetie, you found some beautiful pieces. Some things that I have waited a lifetime to find here in our antique markets. But I am an avid mason jar collector. And I’m so sorry I have to call it out. And I sure you know this bc you are very knowledgeable about a lot of things you’ve gotten, but the blue ball jar lids were made of zinc and lead and the inserts were porcelain and milk glass. And they are very hard to find. So consider yourself lucky to have it. Lol. Consider yourself blessed to have most of the pieces you have in this haul!! Lol!! God Bless! Great Haul! ☮️💗

Just so you know, the insert in your zinc jar lid on the blue Mason jar is GLASS. I too thought it was plastic until I was gingerly punching a hole through one of mine to accommodate a dish soap pump. Imagine my shock when that piece shattered! I did just remove all the broken pieces and I now have it at my kitchen sink. I do need to add something additional inside there to support the zinc. It tends to bend a bit under pressure from pumping the soap.

I am 66 and have rummaged through old barns since I was 16. Here in Kentucky you would have absolutely been able to fill your own warehouse with primitives. I have to admit though, things of quality and age were never cheap. You really belong here in our small town (50,000) with a 3 story Victorian mansion Bed & Breakfast. We are the Bourbon capital of the world here in Bardstown. The tourists come and new distilleries are everywhere. We have both a Bourbon museum and a civil war museum also. Put us on your bucket list to visit. Our history is amazing.

Your wooden bucket is called a firkin ~ some call them sugar buckets (some were used to hold sugar). They were multi purpose kitchen containers.

$45 is a great price! Many cost hundreds of dollars. The ones that are nailed rather than stapled are the oldest and more costly. Painted ones are also highly valued. You have a new treasure and just started a collection!

I just ran across your channel, I loved all your fabulous finds. I think the best place to find the kind of shade you are looking for would be Wal-Mart they have all kinds of beautiful ones for farmhouse decor so I think you will find what you are looking for. Maybe a black and distress it with some white, or silver and copper

Love all of your finds! An idea for your wooden bucket is to place a candlestick style lamp down in it then make a floral arrangement in it. It will be a blooming lamp. I have a similar one that was already a lamp that I did this with. I made a video on it last year. I change out the florals each season. I love the clay pots as well.

The round wooden bucket is actually a firkin... it was used as a measurement in the colonial days... I paid over $100 for my last one, which was in excellent condition...

Thrift stores are also a source for lamp shades. You can paint them, decoupage them, strip and make new covering on the frame or just the frame itself is a great look. So many possibilities.

Love your channel! You should really check out estate sales. I work for a company that puts them together for people. We run across lots of awesome antiques and sometimes we have to practically give them away. Much cheaper than an antique store.

That wooden thing with a handle that you don't know what it is, is a FIRKIN. They were used a lot in colonial times. It's an antique. Please don't paint it!
