I share your philosophy on shopping Mimi. This past year, have tried to shop as little as possible and it's felt like a detox for the soul!!! I have always carefully considered purchases but even moreso now, no impulse shopping. We accumulate so much meaningless junk and it's easy to give up once you try.

I love both yours & Leyla's fashion haul/style (though I gravitate towards yours more because it's similar to my style). It's almost considered minimalist since it's mainly neutrals with pops of colors from accessories or a statement piece. I love you guys because how mature you come across and how you're not like the other YT gurus who buy everything and anything.

FINALLY someone who promotes sobriety when it comes to shopping!!:-) I like to shop once in a while, but I can't stand having so many clothes that I hardly ever get to use them. I have a very small wardrobe too and purge it regularly so I only keep what I love. That way I actually like all of my clothes and very rarly feel "I don't have anything to wear". It also saves me alot of money:-) I whole heartedly agree with yourshopping philosophy!!

When I go clothes shopping, seriously I enter a mall with a list. It really helps me focus and not over buy. GREAT VIDEO MIMI =]

Mimi ur an awesome influence to young girls bc all they see are girls on YT who go crazy shopping for beauty products & clothes almost every wk-it's excessive & superficial. And I really love that you are promoting a vegetarian lifestyle-most ppl aren't aware of how that helps the environment. I will encourage more ppl to consider becoming veg as well at the Green Living Show coming up in Toronto-my boyfriend and I are volunteering for the Toronto Vegetarian Association. Awesome haul!

What a great philosophy on shopping!!! Hoarders here on youtube is one of my pet peeves! I hate to be talking about people, but some gurus show their insanely huge make up collections (and they do not do makeup as their profession either) and show their closet FULL of clothes, or even someone who has turned an entire bedroom into a closet! WHAT. Who needs that much stuff?! I'm not rich, but if I were I could not ever be a hoarder. Sorry...had to vent a little bit.
