Your style is the closest to mine (on RU-vid) and I always enjoy your videos for more inspiration. I tend to always wear my clothes the same way and if we want to use less items we need to know how to wear them in as many different ways as possible.
Thanks for acknowledging Earth Day! Us fashionistas can do our part by being more conscious of the fabrics we choose for our wardrobe pieces. I can't believe how much polyester I used to have, especially in tops. No more! Love the way you tied the blue button up shirt. Good luck with your new home project.
Hello Diane and thank you so much for your sweet comment. I’m so happy that my viewers are so conscious about our Planet and we share similar values 🥰 so true about the polyester. I used to be the same, now I think 25 times before I buy something. We also have awesome charity shops in our area, including kids shops, which we use A LOT for my daughters😁
Hi Robyn and thank you so much for your comment. Thats an interesting video idea. I will think about something that I could include the shirt hacks in xxx🥰
Hose dangly earrings that you rediscovered during your move are Fantastic. So unique. Your eye for design is impeccable. Good luck with the move, settling in and appreciating your good fortune.
Thank you so much for your sweet words and your support, Suzan. We are truly happy with our new home even though there is so much work ahead to make it our own😊😘
And… I love black for all year around but especially for spring and summer. Somehow it looks “cool”. My favorite warm season combination is a black silk shirt or linen tee , short or long sleeved and black linen trousers.
Hi Mariola . Thanks again for the inspiration which is always so timely! Keep them coming if you can, though it must be quite difficult as a result of your recent house move .
Hello Steve, as always thank you so much for your support and understanding. It proved to be more difficult than I estimated, but I’m happy to be back and have so many ideas for future videos🥰
I love silk knits, but they might not be warm enough for some climates. I wear them hear-round, except for really cold days when only cashmere or merino will do. They are a lot harder to find than knits in other fibers, though, so the selection is always limited. I like thicker, high-quality rayon knits, too, and linen knits are great for summer.
Thank you so much for your recommendations Kimberly. I will try and find some silk knits for summer. I have one long sleeve silk top and I love it 🥰 xxx
Hello, thankbyou for your wonderful advise. Can I please ask if you would leave the photos of the style you are talking about, longer on the screen, to give time to snapshot a pic so we always have your inspiration on our phones. Thanking you in advance. Pamela in South Africa ❤
Love your message, we should be more conscious of the environment and our place within it. Definitely think the new trends are more attainable with what I already have. I don't wear that much silver but I do have Pearls, they are good year round. I won't be buying into any trends this summer. However I love your open knit sleeveless jumper, it looks really classy. You always give such quality content. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and style 😘
Hello Cherrie, I completely understand. I also dont enjoy the stif poplin shirts (well there are some exceptions, but it’s very hard to find). The best option, if youre looking for something more substantial and less prone to wrinkles is oxford or twill shirt. They are widely used in menswear and easy to find in second hand shops. But they will be thicker, hence less formal😉
Hello Carrie! thank you so much for your kind words regarding the new home. We are very excited about the process and nothing seems to be too tiring when it’s yours😜 btw. I didnt mention, but the silver bag is beaded, very unusual😊
Thank you for your comment🥰 This bag is a new addition to my wardrobe, but I love it! It’s the best small handy but also fashion forward bag. It’s by a brand Ateliers August and it’s called Roquette in smooth black. I haven’t had it for a very long so cant promise how it wears, but I can see it’s very well made and it fits my iPhone, passport, lipstick and a cardholder. Perfect size!
Where is your pearl necklace from, please? I love the size of the pearls. Would love to know where the pink and blue shirts are from too. Great outfits.
hello Kellie. I apologise for the late reply🙏🏼 my pearl necklace is from &other stories and I really love it (also very affordable). My pink shirt is last year from Uniqlo and the blue one is mens from our local charity shop🥰 ps. mens shirts are usually great quality, look for a twill or oxford👍
Hello Milena, thank you so much for your comment. Mine is from uniqlo last year, but you can usually find really good pink or blue shirts in second hand shops (mens sections)🥰
Hi Wendy, thank you very much for your comment. The shirt I’m wearing is linen from Massimo Dutti around 3 years ago, but I believe any linen would drape in a similar way. Ps. highly recommend black linen👍😊
Hi Mariola! Although you must be exhausted from your move, you absolutely do not look or sound worse for wear! Thank you taking the time to do this in the middle of your current chaos :) ..Great video, examples, and tips, as usual. Question, please....what is the name of the small, smooth leather crossbody bag you have in the cutaway at 4:49 -5:02? I think I need this for traveling. Many thanks! Stay well.
Hello M and thank you so so much for your sweet comment. I’m happy “my chaos” didn’t affect the video (well, at least not in a significant way 😜). This bag, it’s something Im planning to include in my next travel video, because it’s the best small handy but also fashion forward bag. It’s by a brand Ateliers August and it’s called Roquette in smooth black. I haven’t had it for a very long so cant promise the quality, but I can see it’s very well made and it fits my iPhone, passport, lipstick and a cardholder. Perfect size! I hope that helps🥰
Thank you!!! That absolutely does help and it looks and now also sounds spot on for what I want and actually do need! I just have to figure out the customs pain.... Often there is no NY/U.S. shop or shipping for all your great clothes and styling :( I'll figure it out. As they say "Where there is a will..." You really are a great inspiration and you are wise and kind to your followers. Many thanks.
oh dear, I can imagine the pain of ordering internationally. I hope you can successfully get your lovely bag though. On my end I’m trying to contact them for some solid information about shipping to give to my viewers. ps. thank you so so much for your very kind comment. I’m trying😊🫶
YES!!! To the silk/linen knitted tops in spring/summer!! I’ve just bought two from Vinted for silly money (cheap!) No different to a cotton tank or vest top but the knitted texture really elevates the style. Another great video, Mariola and good luck with the rest of your move! xx
