I put the Sta Green Performance Max down in early March. It's just beginning to really improve now. A few weeks ago, I sprayed humic acid and a liquid aeration. Looks like all those are working together now.
My grass looks like yours for the first time!😉😁👍 It is GREEN! What I did do differently is finally raise my lawn mower wheels, instead of cutting it low to the ants and ground dirt. It looks amazing.
Thanks for the update. Front looks great, looks a little better than mine 😎Gonna really pop when you put the fresh mulch down. How often are you having to mow?
Damn! Looking good! I just did mow and mulch in the beds today too. When I was cleaning up some edges today I found some heavy grub infestation so I’m gonna hit the lawn with some bioadvanced grub killer tomorrow. Can’t wait to see your back lawn!
I have been following you for over a year. Your advice is ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL. I'M A 70 YEARS OLD WOMEN. I did CORE AERATION & OVERSEEDING AFTER FALL AERATION to reduce soil compaction, breaks up thatch so nutrients, water and air to reach root SYSTEM ❤ I WANT TO TELL YOU THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GREAT ADVICE ❣❣❣ Do you still use IRONEX ⁉️ LAWN IS LOOKING GREAT, NICE AND FULL, THICK & BEAUTIFUL SHADE OF GREEN‼👍🏼
Hey Brother is that the yellow nutsedge that someone said its not in one of your shorts videos? If so its taking a while huh? Maybe something else? Maybe i missed the video Showing it after you sprayed it. Front looking really nice
This video was shot 6 days after the weed killer video. The weed killer need atleast 10-14 days to work fully into the root for a full kill, I'll be doing a short update soon
Very nice as always!!! I'm on it tomorrow... procrastinated yesterday and today so it will be an early and long day for me. Mow, overseed and fertilize...
@@LawnAmateur Yeah man looking good. I have a bag of Ironite that I bought 2 years ago but I keep missing my window. When is a good time to put it down. I'm on the east coast like you... in Baltimore!?!?
Ha .. I just noticed.....that looks like the same black post I placed in my front yard modified to hang bird house or hanging plant. Salvaged from an old portable basketball goal.😊
@LawnAmateur I saw few weeks ago you applied bug granular and spray I have the same stuff our cold weather is ok to put down or should I wait for warmer weather
@LawnAmateur Absolutely. Now, when it comes to treating my lawn for anything whether it be for bugs and or weeds, which in my case, I'd like to do both asap...should I do this after my lawn is freshly cut + should I treat for weeds 1st, or bugs 1st. Last year I didn't cut our lawn til June 1st to help the pollinators to what they do thru the entire month of May (by that time, my lawn was surprisingly high and neighbors in the area frequently inquired if I needed my lawn cut..prolly thought I was lazy). It's mid April here in Gary, IN and some parts of my lawn is already growing up to 6 inches in some parts. With weeds, should I treat them before cutting my lawn for the 1st time this season or fresh cut n treat for weeds as they grow back? Sorry if my reply's scattered-brained but Im a 1st time home owner that didn't have these things to think of when I was a tenant that rented apartments
@WhoIsRevolution it's OK. You can treat for weeds 48 hours before cutting the lawn or 48 hours after cutting the lawn. The reason for doing it 2 days before or after is to allow the product to work on the weeds and not damage the grass in the process because you cut your lawn the grass need time to repair itself before being sprayed with a weed killer. I hope this makes sense
@@LawnAmateur Thanks for your expertise. Do you have any suggestions or tips on whether to go for bugs 1st or weeds, & is there a time that should pass between attacking both?
New follower here. EI just put down new tall fescue sod about four weeks ago. I cut my grass today, keeping my blade at 4 inches. I have some brown patches and have tried the baby shampoo technique. I even purchased the Blue Def diesel fluid, which I haven’t tried yet. Have you heard of them?
