Spring Gala Day on the Washing Line Railway!

Join me for a day on the Washing Line Railway for the first unofficial gala. The weather was so nice, so it felt perfect for a play on the railway.
The Washing Line is a 16mm Scale SM32 garden railway in Warwickshire. The railway is a work in progress having been built during the first UK National Coronavirus Lockdown in Summer 2020.

Thanks Les. That’s a secret for the next video ;) essentially the railway is only temporary as we live in a new build house and don’t intend on being here forever. I’ll make a video this weekend on how I put it together and how I intend to remove it afterwards. Thanks for watching the videos Les, it’s really appreciated.

The red stripes on the engine against the deep blue is so striking looks really good! So nice to see them all running in the sun 🌞🌞

Where do you get your locos from?

Hi there. They are a mix of different kits from PDF Models, HGLW, Phil Sharples and some have been made by myself out of cardboard. I’ve made a video on each loco.

Is it G scale?

Hi there; it’s not G scale. It’s 16mm to the foot and runs on O gauge track. Otherwise known as SM32 :)

@@joshw6226 Where did you purchase your track from/which make is it, Josh? Brilliant garden railway! Has inspired me to do something similar. Also do you have fixed radius curves? Thanks! :)

Thanks Ben! The points are from Derails models online and is Peco SM32. The track is from Cliff Barker and is excellent quality and available on his website. No fixed radius curves, it’s all flexitrack :)
