I pull my tulips after flowering store them in a shed and clean them. I put them back in autumn and usually they come back every year looking nice. I only toss tulips that look diseased or moldy. I use same spots for my dahlias that earlier have tulips so its a routine i'm use to. Also i disinfect the bulbs with mild Potassium permanganate water (its the purple water, i buy the granules from apotheca i think its used in wound care sometimes)

Just to say that the rose referred to as Eden in the US is a french bred Meilland i.e Pierre de Ronsard. This vlog is fantastic. We french could certainly learn a thing or 2!
