My husband has started telling everybody we can't throw anything away before it's assessed for a DIY transformation. ☺ He's an environmental engineer and spends lots of time on landfill projects, so he appreciates my "tree hugging" tendencies.
I am learning so much from your videos! You sure do have a knack for taking something overlooked at a thrift store and turning it into beautiful decor.
Enjoyed watching your video! Especially how you used mostly items that could be just cleaned and placed as opposed to jumping into carpentry and painting etc. Those are fun to watch as well, but not everyone has the time, tools and space to use the ideas they show. 😊
Very pretty changes and out of the box hunting! I use thrifted down pillows too. I wash and dry on hot or just dry on hot to refresh them and make them "fluffier".
I don’t like decorating for the holidays either except for Christmas ! I also celebrate for the seasons ! You are great at picking up items & styling them making them look high end !
I think the back of the front door is a valuable piece of real estate. Love the wreath and linen napkin bow. I try to put something on the inside of the door for each season. I'm also thinking of painting the inside of the door something totally unexpected, but not sure my left brained husband and daughter could stand that. The struggle is real. 😁
I just discovered your channel last week and binge watched most of your videos. You have quickly become one of my favorite RU-vidrs (not just because of the subject of your videos, but also your smooth voice, great shots/editing/videography, and soft music). You have an incredible eye for design and I love your practical approach to design. I, too, prefer to decorate for seasons as opposed to holidays, with the exception of Independence Day and Christmas. Keep up the great work!!
Just found your channel. You're very imaginative! I have a question that I hope isn't too weird. For the bread basket, the bread is just for looks, right? How do you keep it from molding?
*Living a life of luxury is like a dream for some people and for others it's constant reality, the key is having financial stability and strength but the question is how to*
@Alice Spencer Yeah, My first investment with Mr Edward Martin's he earned me profit of over $25,530 US dollars, and ever since then he has been delivering
My first investment with Mr Edward Martin's gave me the assurance that have made me invest without the fear of losing, I got four of my friends involved with him already
Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us! I’d love to learn how to make something so beautiful! Thanks for teaching me how. I love to DIY. I make diy videos to. I’d love to learn more diy from each other. All my support to you and your channel!
I love thrifting but I experienced a unfortunate event, I brought bed bugs into my home after a visit to the thrift store, any tips on how to avoid this?
I just decorate for seasons also, not all of the different holidays, so really appreciated your approach in this video. Those green Hunter boots were definitely something I would buy for decor! I never look for gardening things when thrifting so thanks for that tip. You are always so inspiring 😍
Great finds!! Love your use of them!! Do you wash pillows you purchase from the thrift store? I'm always a little paranoid buying them because of any smells. I also wouldn't want to ruin them😉
Thanks so much for watching!! I do always wash them especially if there is a zipper! If there is not and I really want that pillow often times I will take some disinfectant spray and then do a little bit of baking soda in my steamer over the entire thing lol I’m not sure if it does anything but I haven’t had any issues!!
