I know people that do summer/beach photos, so go for it! You can do summer, fall, Christmas, Easter/spring, etc. that way you can change out the photos throughout the year! 😊

For your deck, I think a ping pong table with just a small seating area like a couple chairs and a side table would get a lot of use. Maybe built in seating around the windows. Your deck upstairs has so much room that you could have a seating area and a dining area. I think it would be really practical for your family.

Love the new wall color. Suggestion: how about you put your kids photos on the new wall all at age 1 or 2 years old in black and white. Then you can change them out when you take pictures in the fall. Love all your decor🥰

We do family photos almost every summer (I think we've missed about 1 or 2). We do them on the beach, and I love them so much. I look forward to them every year.

I’m from Michigan so I say “pop”. I now live in Massachusetts, Cape Cod, where my husband is from, and they say “ soda”. If we are at a restaurant and I ask what brands of pop they have, I get the strangest looks 😂 I can’t change, lol. Loved this video! Love that wall and the color you chose. I think painting your office doors the same color was a super smart idea! Crystal, your home, inside and out, is just beautiful!!!! Wow!!! That yard too! So much space inside and outside. You do a great job decorating and it really shows! Keep,doing what you’re doing. I love your videos!!! ❤❤

Love 💕 the black wall and the doors getting painted will set the hole look complete. The patio set looks good down below it fits the space nice. Throw in a rug and pillows and greenery that's all it needs

I love the wall, the colour looks so good. Your upstairs deck is really big, is that where you will be doing your bbq’s and smoking meats? If so you could do a seating area and have a dining area out there. Whatever you do, it’s going to be an awesome space.

Our kids are grown, two with their own children. Summer seems to be when we have family photos done. It is hard to get everyone together so we have to take the pictures when we can.

Love the furniture on the bottom patio. I agree, a rug and some greenery/flowers will spruce it right up! For the wall upstairs, I thought the board and batton was going to be white so I was very surprised with the dark wall (like your husband!). I can't wait to see if finished, I have all of the confidence in the world that it's going to look amazing, you have such a great decorating eye! Love everything so far! I love watching your videos and getting your house all set up to your taste, it's so fun!

like your furniture in the area, you've put it. It's perfect for that area. You might get more use out of it where you put it. Bigger scale furniture for the bigger patio. I'm going to have to think about it and look to see what is out there. I put pads under all of my area rugs. If your rug is rough on the underneath each time it gets walked on is like sandpaper on your floor. So, putting a pad even a thinner one I think is a good idea. It's not money wasted for sure. Even if you got them from a carpet center they will recommend pads.

You made the right decision to paint your office doors the same as the wall. It will definitely give balance to the room with some black on that side of living room. Your taking your time and doing everything right. Looks gorgeous 😊❤

What about making the frames yourself? They’ll be completely custom and might be less expensive. My hubby has done many for me. The glass can get expensive though but might be worth checking into…just a thought.

Hi, love the runner for upstairs, the patio furniture works for lower deck. Home Depot and Lowes have molding kits for doors and walls, you cld use for the picture frames upstairs.The iron color is stunning.

We love the wrought iron chairs and tables on our patio. The cushions can be changed out or scrubbed by hand. The iron will last forever and is heavy duty.
