I really enjoyed watching you present the dry in such an idyllic setting. Wish I could return to fishing in Britain but have to be thankful for living down under in NZ where I fish regularly in the wilderness. There is certainly something very romantically historic about your neck of the woods!.
I was just debating whether to pop out for a quick cast (despite Fridays rain), and this has convinced me👍 I'm looking forward to another season of videos, Robert.
I hope it's warmer down your end Chris. We are still finding it pretty tough going on the Dales rivers, with constant high water and poor temperatures. I'm down on Dartmoor next month, so hopefully, i don't bring the measly temperatures with me.
Beautiful river, it’s not all about that catching ❤ would be great for us less experienced but eager types to know how you were fishing-the duo, spider or nymphs? Cheers
I was fishing a small Wickham's Fancy dry fly. As there was a brief caddis hatch. It generally takes until the second week in May for the Wenning to wake up. So, a few fishless days are always on the menu.
