Wanted to add a new question. I've been looking at Liquid Willowcats website, want to try their purple/Chartreuse baits as that color works locally for us on the Rock River. If you only had 1 flavor/scent to pick, what would you choose? Thank you in advance for your responses. TIGHT LINES ALL
You both are on fire, always a good day when you post a new video. Those were some great fish, not only did you catch a giant pike but also a giant eye. That’s impressive
Thank you for creating and sharing this content. I always enjoy and learn from your videos. 22 seconds in and I'm communicating on the first tip, rock or rip rap. TIGHT LINES ALL
@@AnglerX Sunday evening now and I had the chance to finish the video. Enjoyed watching both of you catch smb and walleye. That eddy right by the dam holds an incredible amount and variety of fish. Thanks again for sharing with all of us. TIGHT LINES
Beautiful walleye at the end of the video there. You would think they be spawned out but what do we know. Caught a few whitebass today and they are not even milking yet either…
I don’t know much about the whitebass spawn so I just looked it up. Sounds like they spawn when the water is 50-55 degrees. That said they should be spawning very soon.
Do people anchor out there? I’ve only fished twice and never saw an anchor, but I don’t have spotlock. I can stay or move slowly in a general area, but I’m constantly messsin with my trolling motor.
I have anchored up there before getting my Terrova, but spot lock is definitely an advantage. If you do anchor stay closer to shore away for the current seem. Closer to shore the flow is more in a straight line and the boat will not spin. Another thing to keep in mind is that it is very rocky, and you risk getting the anchor stuck. Always start your outboard before lifting the anchor so that you are ready to drive out after lifting the anchor.
