Its crazy i grew up on the northside of madison and me and my dad would frequent d&s bait and tackle where you guys worked. Still finding time to fish with good friends even 15-20 years later.

Scott Norvell, that was just an old Tica rod. I now use a 9' Chaos Tackle "Surgical Strike" Assault Stick rod.

love musky shows, but not when shot in spawning season..having eggs drop on a boat n all..dont agree with it..unethical imo..reason why most season openers are in june with post spawn time and temps

Todays Angler I agree Lee the fish actively spawning usually aren't eating anyway. Plus not all muskies spawn at the same time and during the spawn it's usually males you catch.
