When Ontario ice melts and we're back to soft water fishing, in-season options start getting slim - leaving panfish, pike, and catfish open for anglers in most FMZ's.
In this video I share my most productive lures and techniques for spring pike, then take them down to the water to showcase how they can be used to catch a handful of pike.
The setup used to throw these lures is a Shimano Clarus MH spinning rod and a Shimano Nasci 2500 spinning reel, spooled with 20 pound braid (PowerPro) and 20 pound fluoro leader (Seagar).
