Thanks Kathy, I think of you sometimes and wonder how you handled your sick Mom, MIL and your husband’s illness and kept your sanity! SometimesI think I am going coo coo, having to remember things I need to do, take care of Dan, and remember the things I need to do for my Mom. I know this is just the season of life I am in and it will pass. So glad you stopped by!

Hi Debbie, I was sooo thankful I was excused from Jury Duty. My city is much smaller then L.A. so I guess not as many court cases. Wow wrist reconstruction, I can’t imagine what you have been through, God bless you!

Yes I sure did! I was really worried about jury duty because my Mom has doctor appointments that I need to take her too as well as my husband still recuperating for his surgery. So thankful!

Hi Lea, when I bought that platter I was thinking I would put it on the mantle but with the flowered Ginger jars it looked too “flowery”. It might make it’s way to the mantle if I move those jars somewhere else. Thank you!

Oh Leslie that is so sad about your dear Mom, I am sure if should could have remembered she would have given the platter to you. I worry so much about my Mom because her memory is really getting bad. I am so sorry to hear about your up coming surgery, I just can’t imagine having to go through that type of surgery 3 times. Please take care of your self and keep me posted on your recovery.

I know exactly what you are saying about folks at estate sales! I have learned to carry a big tote bag and I put items in the bag I think I might want and then find a corner to make my final decision. Lately there have not been many in person estate sales, they seem to be online sales and I am not a fan of them, I like to see the item in person. Thanks for stopping by.

@Susan’s Cozy Condo Life My last one I went to.. was quite the adventure.....part of the actual family of the estate...had a legal juntion for the morning of the estate sale to go in prior to the sale and mark items not for sale bc they were taking them 😬 It was a pure complete mess!! Lot's of family drama....unbeknownst to those of us standing in the cold & dark for the home to be openned. So prior to the doors openned ....we were told by the aution team that many items listed for sale...were no longer available bc part of the family took the other part of the family to court....OVER STUFF/ basically items in the house🙄 Sounded like a mess of family drama. Well, I was already there, so I went in. The disgruntled family members had tagged A LOT of the nicest stuff not for sale. They were sitting in the house on furniture watching all of us. It was very creepy. I only picked up a few things...the 93 yr old deceased home owners Bible ...amazingly none of the family wanted that precious item🧐, 3 ladies hat boxes, some clothes hangers done the old fastioned way with yarn on them, and some brass trivets for hot pots/pans. The auction company...bless their hearts... were very apologetic to the people who came out for the sale. But it was out of their control.

Hi Jody, There must be something about my name because in the city we lived in before we moved to the condo I got called just about every three years and now my current city has tracked me down! I have friends who have never served…not fair. That was just “so kind” of that lady to forward it to your new county! So glad you stopped by for a visit.

Thank you Jean. My husband’s recovery has been slow but the doc said it could take up to 6 months. Those marmalade jars are pretty precious. I sure wish I could come across them in the wild but don’t think that will happen.

The switch ups are fun to do but gracious they wear me out!

Hi Deb, The top I was wearing is so comfortable, I bought it a few weeks ago and have just about worn it out! Bodie barely has to hop to get on the bed. He thinks it is his new personal dog bed. I hadn’t thought about it being easier on his hips…anything for Bodie! Deb, you would love this consignment store, check it out on FB they post pictures all the time and every few weeks they do a “stroll” through the store and show a lot of items. Are you going to Fl. over Spring break? It is finally starting to warm up here, may have to break out of the flannel PJ’s it is supposed to hit 80 degrees tomorrow.

Mere asked me not to let Gunther jump in the back of my SUV. So l have to lift him up .. like you say anything for our boys. Ed and l are driving down 95 on Good Fri . wish me luck . We will get there the day bf Easter . The kids are coming down on Sun. But staying in a hotel for a few days until we can unpack the sheets Towels , dishes etc. l am staying down for 6 months to get the house set up . Ed is flying back north until the end of the school year . I have a lot of work ahead of me , but also a lot of peace and quiet to get it done !!! 🥰❣️❣️❣️Have a great rest of the week .

I thought life was suppose to slow down and our age…not the case. So much to keep up with now that my Mom has given up driving. I also have several friends who have cancer or other long term illnesses. It is hard to spread myself out! Thanks for visiting my friend, take care I know you have your hands full too.

I am very bad about checking measurements when I order, I have got to do better. My Mother gave my Sister and me her nice things as we got homes of our own. She said that she enjoyed seeing us use her things, for which I am very grateful.

Thanks Linda, I am glad you like the chest by the front door, I was wondering if it looked to big there. Bodie has settled down so much in the last year. We have been taking him to doggy daycare and he comes home tuckered out. It is good for him to burn off all his surplus energy.

Hi Suzanne, I am sure you have found some beautiful barns in your travels. It seems like so many are being torn down in my area. We use to have a really old one right next to our condo but they torn it down to built senior apartments…such a shame. I have really slimmed down my Easter decor, I am just too old to haul all of this stuff out!! I am so glad you are on the mend from your surgery it has definitely been a journey for you.

Hi Debbie, I am amazed the the bed is so sturdy and it doesn’t shake or wiggle when Bodie jumps up on the bed. I was worried about not using a box spring but the platform seems to hold the mattress just fine. Thanks so much for stopping by.

I got it from a little shop near my house that sells new and consignment clothes, the shirt was in their new selection. The shop is Michelle’s Hybrid Fashions and they have a website and she ships. She is also on FB and does FB live shows 2x a week. The top is so comfy and just right for the up and down temps we have been having.

You are so right, we usually open the doors at night so the light will reflect into the room. I did have a lot of fun decorating it!
