How about a virtual raft trip down the Big Thompson River during spring runoff? Late May through late June always marks the peak of the spring runoff from melting snow in the mountains of Colorado, including those in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Big Thompson River, which starts in Rocky Mountain National Park and flows through Estes Park and down into Loveland, Colorado, has swollen with the increased water from a winter of abundant snowfall. Let's take a "float" down the river from the meadow where it runs out of the mountains, through Estes Park and into the Big Thompson Canyon. Video produced by Dawn Wilson Photography.

Such a relaxing sound! I cannot wait until I get there in less than 5 weeks, and I get to dip my Grayl filter bottle into that crystal clear water, and drink the best tasting water anywhere.
