dude i came 1 week later just to tell that thanks to you, in my work seniors programmers thinks im some kind genius or something just because i saw this, and i have only 1 week in my work, im really thankful.
I'm a senior java developer and this course by far, is the best one about security. I wanted to know one thing but I ended up watching whole thing from the start. Appreciate your content and how easily you teach and make things happen. loved it!
this entire course is really bad and is teaching extremely bad practices. I work as a security code reviewer and this tutorial is producing extremely unsecure code.
I am amazed how good this course is! Especially JWT part, very much appreciated! There are lots of guides/tutorials online on JWT in Spring security, however none of them demonstrates JWT-SpringSecurity integration in the way you did (obviously correct one)! Many thanks and I'm a sub from now!
Bro this is absolutely unbelievable. I have never found a channel this good for teaching Java Spring. Please continue these, you're shaping other's careers!
If someone studying spring security alone has a problem, I would highly recommend taking this lecture twice. It was great not only to implement it but to explain the necessary principles together. I am not an English speaker, but your pronunciation and accent were so easy to understand. I hope you will teach you the Spring techniques you use in the field in this video style. Additionally, if possible, I hope to add automatic English subtitles to the video. Thanks!
I was reading a stackoverflow post about spring security and my brain was playing it in your voice LOL. You do great work, your organization of concepts is excellent, detailed, and easy to follow. I sincerely hope you are getting good ad revenue from this video and from all of them, you deserve to get paid. Thanks for all you do. I'm very glad I found your channel.
I'm just at the beginning but I really feel like this video is underrated, your explanations are really clear and DAMN COMPLETE, you actually explain, you go into the details, your voice and tone make if really easy to follow and are nice to the hears, this is the first time I start a tutorial about Spring Security without wanting to drop everything after 5 minutes. THANK YOU!
I totally agree. Author's diction (unlike many others who make tutorials with poor language with terrible pronunciation) is very well so that a person who knows the language at an average level will easily understand what is going on.
@@amigoscode awesome content. Have some questions 1. I have followed the same tutorials but in my case usernamenotfound exception was not thrown in case of unknown creds. I tried everything but no success. 2. In jwt filter chain it means on every request JwtUsernameAnd password auth filter will be invoked?
Thank you Nelson. This was very helpful. With Spring security changing every now and then I wanted a one stop tutorial to everything. This served me well. Request - can you do a video on Oauth with Spring security please?
Most completed the most detailed and well explained Spring Security course that I saw by far. I will for sure buy some of your courses to support your hard and quality work. WELL DONE!!!
This is the best spring security course! This guy Nelson (Amigoscode) teaches with all his heart, will and mind! I am happy for having you buddy! May God bless you much more Nelson!
Hey Thanks a lot man, this is by far the best tutorial of spring security online. I struggled a lot configuring security on my project watching other videos as they were not complete or precise, your video has everything. Thanks a lot once again. Best Wishes.
Absolutely awesome course. Accurate, straight to the point and as already mentioned, flawlessly narrated. Thanks a lot for the big effort. Keep up the excellent work !
Amigo's courses are the best java courses I have ever seen. Thanks you very much. They are always clean and up-to-date. However, since I am not native english speaker, may you pls add back caption in the video so that other people like me can easier to follow what you are talking about?
One of the very few best course. Detailed, well explained, job relevant. Really effective similar to his other course like spring boot master class. Love your way of explaining things.
Hi i am from India . Learning from your tutorials is very easy. The way you are breaking the topics is just wow. one question how do you understand the technology , what are the steps you follow, do you jump directly in documentation. How to understand documentation properly ? what should be the steps. Thanks for your tutorials ,keep inspiring us.
Thank you, Nelson! Your tutorial was really helpful to me in overcoming my fear about Spring Security and Co. Even if a few lines of code/methods were deprecated, I managed to find up-to-date methods, and that also helped to understand the material/concept. I never thought I would appreciate facing unforeseen problems. Thanks again.
For anyone having trouble with the depracated parser(), I have used the parserBuilder() from the official git repo, just like this : Jws claimsJws = Jwts.parserBuilder() .setSigningKey(Keys.hmacShaKeyFor(secretKey.getBytes())) .build().parseClaimsJws(token); It works just great. Nice tutorial, btw, keep going, I have also subscribed and I expect this kind of content in the future. Good luck and a happy new year!
I have used spring security many times up to now, but I have never understood it as clearly as I do now after I have watched this video, it helped me a lot, So many thanks to you man.
I have been a javaEE guy for long until I was forced to get into micro services. I have so much to thank this guy, you just cut short my learning journey. You deserve a medal sir!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing this very useful guide. I have been battling with spring security all week in my day job. There are so many online video tutorial sites, but yours is by far the best and you have a very relaxed pace to how you present. Thanks!
If someone is using a newer version of Spring, in the 8th part, it is necessary to add "@Configuration" before "@ConfigurationProperties" in the JwtConfig.java file. Took me a while to figure out why things weren't working.
Give a Medal to this man !!!! His Courses are soooo good, !! Complete and clear, easy for learning and to understand also for beginners. Congratulations !!!!
This is one of the best structured tutorials I've seen, congratulations! I just have one question regarding JWT auth: how should an expired token be handled? The user would suddenly be blocked to access any resource if the token is expired and we would not want that.
Nelson bro, your pronunciation is awesome! My native language is russian and my english is not very well, but I understand your every word! Even without subtitles! Thanks again for your videos!
just finished the entire course..thank you !!!! JWT creation and authentication is working fine. For some strange reason I no longer see my "student" list after the GET command. But I still receive a 200 status. Guess I gotta skip back a few chapters to see where I screw'd up that part. Thanks for the video & may god bless you always !!!
You the best on YT java tutorials mate. Thank you so much for all the help. You exlain it great and I like that the variety of topics that you cover is so diverse.
A great tutorial primarily focused on Spring Security!... I like how he used "Fake" Repository and "mock" API for demonstrating different things about spring security
Wonderful course I am halfway through and although I do not master all English I have learned a lot and I am going for more. Thank you very much Nelson.
Thanks so much the Content is Great you got a natural skill to teach, and the peacefull in your voice is super easy to follow, you are a great teacher love this course. AWESOME BRO!! from Argentina, Che sos un CAPO!!!
Excellent tutorial on Spring Security, loved the way of teaching, clear and to the point, and coding on the go. I am about 1 hour done with with the turorial.
Mashallah! This is the best Spring Security course/video I've ever seen. If you were put this course in sites like Udemy it would have had a lot of success and you could have earnt a lot of money but instead you decided to upload it in RU-vid for free. My respects. Thanks a lot and God bless you!!!!
That moment when you 4hours 30 minutes and exactly used multiple magical functions of java and spring boot. This is what we call brain melting. It was a great video, I believe that it can be a great reference for future projects. Thanks and bravo...
I've come around to this channel watching a course on java 8 stream over udemy which was exceptional and now I'm here. And I got to know that you have course for going fullstack with spring and react, but it's not over udemy which should be there also. In last but not least, thanks for the great content.
Man, Nelson, you are doing a great work! I am enjoying every single minute of your video, getting useful information. Thanks a bunch for all your efforts!
Thank you Nelson for this great content! I have just put your Java React full-stack course in my company's training curriculum. All the best with your online teaching business!
well done. thank you so much. Went through the course in three evenings. I was coding along almost the full time. Many thanks and respect Nelson for your effort!
