Hey, right-on Chad...Yeah, I ran into Brett through Chris and we hooked up on a few runs there for a minute. I believe he's overlanding with his boy now-a-days. Till next time...Happy Trails! : )
Hey Harold...here you go: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9lEkxh3LCXM.html . There's a lot of videos on file...I know it's hard to weed through them all. Thanks for watching! : )
Again so epic!!! Y’all got the snow wheeling game down!! Subbed on the first video I watched!! Huge early model yota fan, follower, and wheeler myself!! Jeep is holding it down! Not just a skinny pedal game. So much finesse. Same way I wheel. Great job all of you!!
Hey Jonathan, thanks again. That's awesome. Yeah, my buddies are all in the Yota game...it accounts for a lot of friendly mud slinging. ; ) Sounds like you know your way around in the snow. Till next time...Happy Trails! : )
Have seen several of your videos prior to this, and really enjoyed them! Problem is, I forgot to subscribe and had to go looking for you again! (That happens to some of us old farts!) You guys know what you’re doing, have the proper equipment, usually don’t go alone, and respect nature. And you guys go out and rescue others who often seem to possess little common sense! Finally, I enjoy the scenery, your skill, and the relaxing music! I only wish I could be wheeling along right behind you. But since I can’t, please keep ‘em coming?! Many thanks! With great respect, Grandpa
Hey right-on Grandpa...thanks for the feedback! : ) It's a lot of fun and we love playing in the snow. I'm glad you enjoy them, we're looking forward to the start of another snow season here pretty soon. Glad you're part of the crew! : )
Monster Jeep And I’m glad to be with ya! Been with ya all day today. It’ll take me awhile yet, but I’ll get caught up. Be safe my friend, and I’ll be in your mirror! Grandpa
Hey Richard, we are on around 5 feet of snow for the most part up where we spent the night. Of course some areas are less and some drifts are more. Yeah, something about the snow that adds so much to the landscape. : )
Hey, right-on 59vaughn. If you haven't already, you should go check out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2f5w6BxAmeA.html (The Last Spring Snow Wheeling Trip of 2017) We do the same trip one last time and Chris with the blue truck goes through the fire pit, plus the angles are treacherous. Anyway...I digress. Sorry about that...lol. Thanks again for watching, till next time...Happy Trails!
Hey I have a question to ask you so I just got a set of km2's and I live in eastern Washington and winter has already started. Do you find it to be difficult or dangerous driving to the trails on the interstate in a big snow storm. A lot of people say mts are bad in snow driving on pavement and after our first storm I don't really see a big difference from my old m/t a/t hybrids. thanks
Thanks for the reply. I think some people think mud terrains are just for the work truck on the farm and have never used a set in the snow. I plan on going snow wheeling in north idaho this spring and I've been worried about how they will do on the freeway snow going up to the mountain snowboarding or snowmobiling. thanks again for the quick reply happy wheeling
Right on Brendan, yeah, if it gets too slick out I just air down and keep rolling. In the Paulina Lake videos you can see I have traveled several hours on winter paved roads with no problems to get to a wheeling destination. Hope to see some video of you in northern Idaho...Happy Trails! :)
Thanks for the advise if it gets too slick I'll defiantly do that. I was curious if that would help it makes sense it would. I was thinking about getting a pair of chains but it might not be needed.
Schizzultz, thank you! We stopped at Clear Lake on the way home to do some fishing. If I remember right, I think it was one of those free fishing weekends. As far as upcoming videos, getting ready to upload the last spring snow wheeling trip, and then I have a couple of early summer adventures that I need to put together. Till next time...Happy Trails! :)
Hey Chris...actually I love 'em! They work really well and the double beadlock is a real bonus. I've had other friends that have just a homemade outside beadlock and sure enough, I've seen them loose the inside bead. (Plus they look pretty good too.) They can leak air around the bead when you get to 4 psi or less. But it's not a problem, I've run them at 0 psi once in the Paulina Lake video in sugar snow when it was tough going. Usually in the snow I go to 10 psi first, then if I start to struggle I'll go to 5 psi and try to save anything lower for when and if we get stuck or as needed to get through a tough spot. Putting them together the first time went smooth (there's a video of that) and the next time I had a shop do it, so I haven't taken them apart, but I did watch a video and it looks like a chore. So yeah...I give them a thumbs up and would definitely buy them again.
