When Eddie Jones was asked in press conference after losing to so called B Team he replied "I didn't know there was B Team mate, don't be a smart arse mate"😅
Sometimes this guy is blind to stuff going on. Last time I listened he was not a moerat fan and all of a sardines the blokes a good captain and blah blah. If he wants to interview his majesty, then has to start kissing ass.
@udovanschalkwyk5206 its a nightmare boet, how do they analyze this and what is game plan? My plan will be don’t let them score more than 48 points boys
IMHO - Tomas the Tank deserves a crack and has test caps under his belt and is in good form. Salman needs to show some grunt, for a 4 lock he needs to bring mongrel. A bok 4. Marco VStaden needs a big game, just needs one, invisible. Elrich isn't an out and out 8 but played well last week and deserves a full crack, Crappies and Sasha ok Im ok with these guys can turn a game on its head, Centres best in the world Lucky is always one of my favs and in this game against inexperienced opposition could cause chaos, needs game time, Fasi needs to show he can also read the game and is lucky to have Mpimps and Cheslin. 10 RWC winners in the team, they say b or c team...10 RWC winners. Bru! yes new combos, yes inexperienced players, big dog bench. If it gets open then this is a team to punish.
it s not a B Team. I honestly think that he is giving CAP's to the younglings. We need to start to build our length and longevity in the team and squad. We are one of the few that has depth in the squad due to us doing this very move.
Your right, it's a c. If they unravel under pressure due to zero cohesian and defensive mechanism goes to shit, it matters nothing off the bench. You all forget real fast how Erasmus did this against Wales 2022 and we got fckd up.
People keep saying B team, we shall see this wkend. Rassie has crazy depth, hell we've forgotten bout Lood, Franco😳Jasper still to come😁 And our backline, from being short players to leaving RWC winning flyhalfs, centres, wings n fullbacks on the bench or rested. If these guys blow the Aussies out the water we are gonna have more rule changes 🤣🤣🥰🇿🇦 Four more Yeers boys🤣👊🏾
I don't understand why Tyrone Green wasn't called up and given an opportunity at 15. While I like Fassi's handling of the high ball and his general attacking play, I'm still sceptical about his defensive ability.
@@myshepspud1 the jury's still out on Libbok. We are talking about the Springboks and not South Africa A here. As far as I'm concerned, if you aren't a complete player in your position then you shouldn't be selected for our main team. It was for the very same reason I didn't think Elton Jantjies at flyhalf (even as backup) was the right selection. Anyway, I'm hoping Libbok proves me wrong when he gets his opportunity in the 2nd half on Saturday, as well as going forward, in the rest of the Championship. #Go Bokke!
What if we loose? Then nothing.... In Dr Rassie we trust. He always has a plan and his plans have been working out really well for a long time. Aus is the only team we can test new talent against relatively safely. I dont think he'll try this against ARG or NZL
If all our players are healthy I'd like to see this backline: 9 Grant Williams 10 Sasha Feinberg-Mngomezulu 11 Kurt-Lee Arendse 12 Lukhanyo Am 13 Canan Moodie 14 Cheslin Kolbe 15 Damian Willemse
I am not sure what everybody sees in Evan Roos as a springbok nr 8. He is, according to me not at all as good as Jasper and now Louw. I would not even pick him in any Springbok team
Jasper often makes errors. Knock ons, poor discipline etc. I havent seen Elrigh make any errors, and he carries hard. Wiese is a monster at the rucks though... for me I wouldn't have a preference for first choice between the 2. Wiese hasn't had game time, I'd even be happy to see Elrigh start against the ABs. Let him go up against Ardie and see how it goes
I don't know why you keep referencing the loss against wales some years ago when Rassie addressed that noting that we needed depth and caps under the belts for those players and also putting them in those situations. This is different where we have depth now and need players to play so that when there's an injury it won't matter who you pick, it will not unsettle the team.
Elrigh is not our future on 8. I think Evan and Jasper are more up there to take over. Sacha is our future on 10 and to play with Pollie can only be of benefit for all!
Front row will swim. Salman Moerat is not an international standard lock. Elrigh is 2nd option at the moment, but soon that will be Hanekom. Weise is still no.1 Morne Van Den Berg - yes, he will do well. Sacha is best at 10 v Australia, but Pollard vs NZ. Am is a better 13, he lacks grunt and power for 12, but he is clever enough to play 12. Fassi has talent, speed and vision, but is weak on defence. He needs to start stepping up at this level. Yes, we can win with a bit of luck. Huge changes, too many changes (?), and not needed. Big risk if we want to win the Championship. All risky, but we must have faith in Rassie's decisions.
Boks do not give a flying Fcuk if we lose the next 45 games in preparation for the 2027 gold medal. Means Fcuk all. We preparing now. Everyone else sleeping. Failure is the key to success. Fail the games now to win gold 2027
Beat NZ twice in a row? I wouldn’t bet on that. When last did SA beat NZ in both games in this tournament. 2009 Tri-nations (actually won 3 times). I would bet on NZ putting 50 on Arg this weekend.
Jordan for us Souties your voice is clear and your thinking tops (except that Erich was very very good and not a card machine like Jasper and Evan!) but please use the word ‘inexperienced’ instead of junk word ‘unexperienced’. Even my grandma would prefer you say kak and lekker but not that. And never ever stop saying Moer that bell. That’s classic use of the languages :-) love your content boet.
Am I the only one that do not think the Wallabies played that bad? They did not give up and showed a lot of bravery. Rain and wind forecast for Saturday. To quote Yogi Berra: "90% of the game is half mental" and "It ain't over 'til it's over!".
Make no mISTake this is a powerful . skillful Bok team , there is no B or C team. this is the best team available for this week. The only player i have a little doubt about is Moerat good player but haven't seen that EXTRA from him , that separates the world class from club side
Elrigh Louw was impressive. He is good under the high balls, like kickoffs, dominated tackles and also the collision. Jasper Wise also has some things to work on, he is not anywhere near the perfect nom. 8.
I couldn’t disagree with you more about Elrigh Louw. He had a solid game. He carried well and did all the basics well. I think he has knocked Evan Roos down the pecking order.
Moerat, Libbock and Am are suspect in this team. Am is not a 12 . I don't care how well he may play against Australia the real test is the top tier nations. No real understudy to De Allende that has the same physical impact as him at this stage. That is worrying as physicality at 12 has been the cornerstone of the Bok gameplan. Moerat is a disaster waiting to happen. His work rate is abysmal. He is poor in the tackle and you will hardly see any mongrel from him. He hardly ever gets over the advantage line. Not Bok material. Libbock is not a solution long term so why is he in the team?
Risk ?! This is not the World Cup ! The trophy is safe within our trophy cabinet. Let us be realistic, the Springboks (mr. Erasmus) will never promise to win EVERY TEST match. But they will apply their minds and bodies to learning on every occasion. There is no major risk this Saturday but we have a great opportunity (having been successful last Saturday!) to experiment, both with new caps and with new strategies. Should the wallabies score more points than our novice-Springboks (yeah right ! 🤭) ,,both the individual Springbok players and the Springbok squad we will gain valuable experience, and we will be even more threatening for the next test match. 🔥
I'm not that concern about the scrums, Boks always scrums the two packs against each other in training. So the Saturday scrum is training against the best scrum in the world.
I think maybe the player feedback from the team that played last weekend had a lot to do with this weeks team. They told Rassie, give the lighties a chance, these guys are not on our level.
Mannie libbok must be the number 10 against the all blacks he deserves it he is working so hard but I am going to both of the all blacks games so mannie deserves 10
Moerat is a solid player, doesnt do much wrong but at the same time, doesnt exactly impress. At 4 he needs to be an enforcer. He has more the attitude of a 5. He needs to get mean. Nortje is a great technical 5, high work rate, doesnt make many errors and is a lineout specialist. Still some questions around his physicality as well.
He does not have enforcer ability. He is 26. Should have been an enforcer by now. He cant get across the advantage line. He is in the team to jump in lineouts and and do back passes. And he just seems soft
What about Wales? We're a long way since 2022, infact the Boks have played 20 games since then losing only 3 of them. Boks have won the RWC since then and the game, coaching staff and game plan aren't even the same, in 2022 Sacha FM was still playing U20s so we're in a good place now compared to 22. The Bulls players in the squad, Nortje, van Staden, Wessels, Grobbelaar, Louw makes a good cohesive pack to face the Aussies and then with Krappies, Tank du Toit, PSDT, there's nothing wrong with this selection. And then the RWC bench, Marx, Ox, Koch, Etzebeth, Kwagga, Williams, Libbok, Pollard, this is a hell of a bench. Of course the Wallabies will come out like possessed men but this makes it the perfect opportunity to give the new Boks some real game time like they had against Portugal, something they wouldn't have been able to do against Aus if they'd lost the first test in Briz. I also don't think the loss to Wales in 22 is comparable to the bad place the Wallabies are in now. In 22 Wales were ranked where Aus is now in 9th place, think Aussies were at No5 but not focussing on how bad other teams are I'm taking into account how the Boks have developed since then and given they don't have a terrible performance on the day and they slot all their kicks, I'm still going for a double digit Bok win with a BP in Perth. I think Aus is going to play a very much kicking game like the Welsh did in 2022, it's just very difficult for me to see where the Wallabies can dominate the Boks otherwise, as long as the Boks don't give away early easy points then have to play catchup like we've seen them do in the past, then I think the last quarter will be where the Boks start pulling away and racking up the points but I'll be happy with just a 11 point win. Do you think the Wallabies are going to pull some magic out of the hat and if so, what area of the game?
I don't believe that the new players select to start can be regarded as the B team. They are selected on merit to show their ability being good enough to slot in as worthy replacements in case of injury and for the 2027 rugby world cup
@@SteveWarlee clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. Rassie always plan ahead and give players an opportunity to see whether they are the right fit to play for the Springboks. This is not the first time he did it, by 2027 he'll have his world cup squad and enough depth to cover players that are injured or retired
In regards to the 12 jersey i believe a couple of players have been over looked. David Kriel-bulls Henco van wyk-lions. Yes he is 13 for lions but can make 12 his own. Jordan Hendricks only on 12 build some muscle he will be a good 12. Kicker back up Ethan Hooker-Sharks Now in my opinion player that i see will make that jersey his own in the future to come Julius from the u20 boks and currently at the Sharks.
@@TheBuildKingR Moody to me is brilliant at wing however i saw last weekend he played fullback for the bulls v Griffons. I hope Moody will be ready for nzl tour
Elrigh really making a name for himself 💪🏻. All the players chosen will step up and make us proud. Springboks are very well coached and everyone has a very good understanding what is expected
I hate going on about this but no person under the sun will convince me that moerat is a Springbok lock!! Thats one area where we do not compensate with average players!
These boyz are very good if we dont give them chance we will never see them so the team is peffect no problem we will win more that 33 points mark my word
The Springboks have two men's senior teams: the Springboks and Springboks A. I've never heard of a Springbok B team-ask Eddie Jones about that Springbok B team too 🤣-so folks need to drop that talk. All I see is a Springbok team that can field three, if not four, different lineups capable of getting a result against any nation. You don't achieve that through luck but by giving players minutes, which is why Moerat needs to be supported, not jeered. JHW is a third-choice hooker playing loosehead, and yet no one bats an eyelid at that selection. Trust the Doc, support the players, and enjoy the wins!
Great video 🔥Aphelele fassi does need to step up because if Damien willimse gets injured they need a back up and I think wille Le roux has done his time. Fly half I think goes to sacha to pollard because you need 2 good fly half’s like them against a Damien McKenzie
My answers: 1) The front row will swim. 2) I have my doubts about the lock pair. 3) Louw 2nd option. Where is Cameron Hanekom? He's my first choice. 4) Morne will do fine at scrumhalf. 5) Sacha will do fine. I would like to see him on inside centre with Libbok at flyhalf, Moodie on outside centre. 6) No. They are past their best. No Am, Pollard please. 7) Fassi is underrrated. My second choice after Willemse. 8) No problem. The Aussies are way below their best.
@@SA_PASFAgree, except for an on-form Bundee Aki….Am has seemingly recovered from all the recent niggles and is hitting his best form. He may prove to be a key to holding the youngsters together in the first 50-60 minutes before the veteran World Cup winning cavalry (Eben, Ox, Malcolm, Kwagga, Vincent….) cones on.
In the pack 5 Bulls, can they do it, time will tell. Also Salmaan Moerat not up to it, he has to start coming to the party. If they do not manage the bench can save them; Ox, Marx, Malherbe, Eben, Kwagga. When Bomb Squad comes on Eben and P-Steph can go to 4 and 5, and Kwagga 7. Brilliant back line. Enough good ball and they can run riot ! Am played no.12 before he went to the Sharks and against Potugal he covered both positions after Esterhuizen got carded.
