I once jumped on a Springfree trampoline but I had no idea what that was at the time and it was the best thing I ever jumped on I even landed my first backflip I'm only realizing now it's called Springfree now finding this channel and I have a spring trampoline and it's definitely nowhere near as good
My friend has a spring free trampolinr and I bounce on it all the time. Its actually really bouncy and you can get a lot of air. The spring free trampoline is roughly 1500$ more or less. But I am sure that if you buy a Trampoline USA Trampoline, It will bounce higher and those are about 1700$. It wont bounce that much higher though, maybe a couple more inches, but I think the spring free is the way to go, unless your are a professional and you need as much air as possible to do tricks, and that you are carful that you dont go too much to the edge.
Hi there, the Springfree trampoline mat is designed to direct jumpers from the edge to the centre of the mat. The watermelon in the video lands directly on the edge, but is directed toward the centre of the mat as intended. It’s pretty quick but we can verify that it landed on the edge just like the spring-based trampoline. In addition, the edge of the Springfree Trampoline is soft all around, unlike the spring-based trampoline. There is no exposed metal frame or springs to worry about.
Hi Luke, the difference there is the enclosure netting. Springfree's ultra flexible nets are secured through each rod so that your foot cannot slip through. The net will also not let you fall sideways and down because of it's design. You'll find it's possible to fall on the net and on the outer springs on a traditional trampoline. It is also possible for your foot to slip under the net and still fall between springs.
Would love to try it . Ex trampolinist here and I owned a pro string. They cost a fortune now. Have never found anything I’d consider bouncing on since, well you just can’t on most of them. 5 ***** for getting rid of those frames, they hurt
Thanks for trying to improve something that most people wouldn't have even thought to bother with. You forgot to mention another great part about your trampolines - they're bouncier!
Thanks for this video!!! I've been begging my mom for a trampoline for years but she thinks they're very dangerous. Hopefully with the help of this video and some convincing we might be able to finally get a trampoline!
First off you can put a large carrot in between two of the spring free rods and will snap when jumped near that area. Small children get injured from that. Plus it's incredibly hard to put together. In another review they said since the rods are going in one direction the trampoline moves that way causing ankle problems...I'll stick with springs
Hi Scott, Thanks for your concern about safety - it's a topic that is very important to us. The Springfree design complies with all of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) guidelines on avoiding "pinch point" risk. In the same way that it is not natural for a child to insert their limbs through the springs of a Traditional Design Trampoline (TDT), it is not natural to put your arm through the rods when someone is jumping with full force directly on top of the Springfree Trampoline soft edge. To cause the rods to have any contact at all would require a heavy jumper to jump with extreme force on the very edge of the mat, where there is very little rebound and no 'joy' in the jump. Basically, to create a pinch point, a mature jumper would have to do so intentionally. I hope this helps clarify the design and safety features of the Springfree Trampoline. - Amanda
+Will They are just saying that, for people's safety. They aren't dissing spring ones... Have you ever been on one, or kept one?? If not, there are no reason to say it sucks, and people have different opinions.... Not saying I'm defending spring free tramps, I have been on one, but I think both tramps are great!
I have a normal trampoline and it cost about $250 for a 16 foot. I've had it for a little more than 2 years and it's still in great condition. The legs aren't wobbly and have never collapsed. The frame is properly covered and the springs are on the outside of the net. The net is the same tight style as a spring free and works well. The door has a zipper and clip to keep it shut so you can't fall out. The bars supporting the net are covered in foam... And as a person who uses a trampoline everyday I can say I've never hit a pole. My trampoline is still extremely bouncy even after two years of winter snow which helps my back (less pressure when I land)... The spring free trampoline looks less bouncy and seems to take more effort to jump... Although I've never tried one. And what happens when my younger cousin runs over to watch and puts her fingers in the flexing bars of the spring free? I've seen other videos of carrots being crushed by your trampoline and would never want that to happen. Again, I've had my conventional trampoline for two years, it cost $250, and I have had friends, family, and numerous others jump on my trampoline and not once have I seen an injury That's just my biased opinion for yours...
Is so agree with you I have a trampoline with springs and it works the same as the spring free! They I heard a lot of people getting hurt on the spring free and the spring free isn't as bouncy
"The other trampoline brands are in it for the money" then why are your trampolines so much more expensive? I'm not paying $2500 when I can buy a bigger one for like $300
JDO Tricking The reason our trampolines are more than expensive than some others is we make sure to use sturdy materials to make sure they're safe and to prevent those trampoline injuries.
Springfree Trampoline Its not like you need 3,000 to make sure and test them and to see if there safe .Plus you can go to skyzone and pay 26 dollars to play for 120 minutes. -_- PLZ....MAKE THE TRAMPOLINES CHEAPER!!!!!
Jordan cupquake Quality has a price. If you are not willing to pay it, I hope you are prepared for possible hospital bills. And not everyone has a trampoline park in their vicinity. The whole purpose of buying a trampoline is to have it in your backyard for whenever you feel like using it.
Springfree Trampoline I hugely respect you guys you are trying to make a safe high quality product and it seriously seems like you've done it, the problem is though is that it just costs too much.
JDO Tricking You're an idiot..... the cost of materials and production of these trampolines GREATLY exceeds those cheap ones. That's why they are cheap, because they are made with cheap materials and have a cheap production process.
We have the largest spring free trampoline that the company offers and you bounce crazy high. The nets are ridiculous on how flexible a strong they are. I've had two friends fall together onto the net and they went so far down they were MAYBE an inch off the ground and got flung back up without a single rip or injury. Great product but the price is out of this world. You get what you pay for!
And I have failed and my brother at backflips he lands on his neck and doesn't get hurt I find when I land I go flying backwards into the net and I'm like damn this still hasn't broken
spring free is better, but too pricey I'll wait until the hype is over. until then I'll stick to the dangerous one... after all accidents happen. it's ashame they make these too expensive and out of reach... if they wanted people to be safe (the reason behind this design) they would offer a more affordable price.
Hi All the engineering and design that has been put into the development of Springfree means that you can leave it outside and enjoy jumping on it all year long, even in the snow! Check out our blog www.springfreetrampoline.ca/blog/2015/10/15/jump-all-year
WolfaDOX Don't buy it the yellow edge is extremely hard and hurts a lot and most spring trampolines are more bouncy and have the springs outside the net making them more safe.
I'm getting one tomorrow!!!!!! I'm so excited! I'm getting the large square one, which is bigger than my room!!! I was going to get the jumbo one, but that would take up nearly our whole backyard it's so big!
I bought a spring free trampoline 13 yrs ago and it was the best money I ever spent on a toy for my kids. Left it in my backyard when I rented out my house 5 yrs ago, tenants kids loved it. And now after they left, my gardener ask if he can take it for his kids. Best trampolines in the world!!!!
Hi there, with proper maintenance, snow and rain shouldn't affect the performance of your trampoline. Be sure to sweep off snow when there's a heavy snowfall as heavy loads can weigh down the trampoline mat and stretch it out over time. Hope this helps.
I've had a regular trampoline for about two years and the springs are on the outside of the enclosure so while your jumping you have no risk of hitting the springs. The enclosure is very tough. It's not saggy and the poles of the encloses are very sturdy. Also my trampoline can stay up all winter through the snow. I find that this video is only picking out bad qualities of a cheap trampoline. I think a springfree trampoline looks like a good quality trampoline and is pretty sad but I think that this video has the cheapest trampoline in the world just to knock off regular trampolines when not all trampolines are like the cheapest on in the world featured in this video. So Springfree have a horrible way of showing that "their trampoline is better" when it's not. My trampoline is just as safe as this one is.
Safety... While it's definitely something to think about, I know of far more painful instances from landing partially or completely upside down and hurting the neck or back than from the springs or pipe frame although we had our share of that too. We also took the padding off, it was more annoying than anything. Our parents also couldn't convince us to wear helmets while riding bike, although I should mention we never had pavement or concrete to ride on, only dirt.
If they combined the two trampolines to make one with not spring brace but has the bouncy things on them and a spring top will that make you jump higher
Where can you buy one , and is it available at Walmart or things like that? And is it able to withstand more than one person jumping and gymnastics ( flips ?)
The white things that replace the springs pinch! If someone is jumping very close to the edge and someone else has a finger in between two of then, it wouldn't be good. Sticking with the springs, mostly because I grew up with one, but i knew how to stay on a trampoline...I never hurt myself on the traditional!
Watching this seeing the spring free compared to the old one is the spring free still able to hold a few people like the old one? Say 4 people at max will the spring free trampoline be able to hold tht weight?
@@alexmilburn4261 I haven't been injured by the local wildlife once and I go on bushwalks regularly. Granted I've had one of the world's most deadly spiders show up in draws and stuff several times, but that's beside the point.
@@alexmilburn4261 Oh boy..I live in Australia and i've seen tons of spiders, but the reason people get hurt is their stupidity. They wont hurt you if you don't bother them.
Hi Grace, If you live in a snowy area we recommend you to clear the trampoline every time you have a big dump of snow as it can build up to be quite heavy depending on how much snow you had. Other than that there's not much you need to do as our trampolines were designed to withstand harsh weather. Another thing for you to increase the trampoline's longevity is to clean it every semester at least. Kind regards, Springfree Team :)
I don't want a trampoline, but I'd consider watching ads on the internet if they were made like this, especially if it were followed up with a bunch of 'How It's Made' style expansions.
Why not compare a spring free vs a similar price Spring trampoline. The Spring tramp in that vid is about 15 years old. New spring tramps look pretty safe to me
I love my spring free trampoline - i wouldn't have anything else for my kids ... the mat is thick - and still very bouncy ... great for adults too .... Love it and I feel much safer knowing my kids are jumping on that than any other.
What about the rods on your spring free trampoline that see sunlight and this causes them to fray and become like sharp knives all around the trampoline? My spring free trampoline became the worlds most unsafe trampoline because I was never made aware of the upkeep . Honestly a great trampoline otherwise but $5-600 for replacement rods??? Ouch Wish I was made aware of that at time of sale.
That's great! Get her to check out the rest of our RU-vid videos as well. They really showcase how different and safe the Springfree is from traditional trampolines. - Claire
Awsome product . I would buy it since im looking for a trampoline but i live in a Eastern Country and I have 2 major problems. 1.My money are RON and if im doing the maths correct 3000 pounds are 17.000 RON's .And and usually people get paid around 1.500 RON where you enter the bills aswell. And 2. You don't deliver in my country so i have to pay a company to pickup my shipment from UK for exemple and bring it to me witch is not cheep either.
I've got my leg stuck in a trampoline with springs it's scary when your little but It also happened again a couple weeks ago and since that when I was little I new what to do so I got out in a couple seconds and got jumping again (P.S this was at my friends house and when I was little I had a trampoline
i have a spring free trampoline and the plastic poles that act as the springs isnt safe my little brother fell and smacked his head and cracked it open so im pretty sure it doesnt matter what type of trampoline you have
Hi there! From your comment I assume you're not talking about one of ours as we don't have set up among our models. After some independent testing it showed even in that case the net may not be enough to prevent people from accessing the hazardous parts of a coil spring trampoline. Springfree Trampolines are proven to be the safest trampolines on the market. Kind regards, Springfree Team :)
I feel like when they compared the traditional trampoline to the spring free they made the traditional one look so bad..Mine has almost exactly same thing as the spring free and it's safe..
My Trampoline steelc tubes are outside the net where the pad is so whey a fall at the edge i dont get hurt as my friend did because hers had a pad inside the net and her leg went throught the springs

Hey JJ, We currently can't ship anything from New Zealand, as we are super low on stock! If you contact our distributor in Thailand they might be able to help you out www.springfreetrampoline.co.th/ Kind regards, Springfree Trampoline
The reason the spring free one was better in that video was because you can buy the spring trampoline for £50 but a better one about £300 has the net before the springs so you can't land on them or hit the frame and give you more or the same height and are a lot cheaper
It might be a lot safer, but a lot bader. Im wondering how bad it does elastic. You cant do any tricks ln it cuz u cabt jump high, and there might be a 1 person limit in that spring free, cuz in sure that those sticks under it wont take two fat kids.
1:13 the guy who drops the watermelons in the spring free completely misses the outside of the trampoline! I've hit me head on that part on my tramp and it hurts a lot!
@@youtubeclan4728 ya I was in gymnastics for 3 years of my life and got really good at flips and i could do them into a foam pit so I tried it on a trampoline but recently I stopped
Hi Kooper, Hope you had the chance to get in touch with your local branch and have it fixed. Please find the list of all the international branches for you to get in touch with here: www.springfree.com Kind regards, Springfree Team
its funny because he said about people falling through the net. I've done it before. i was with my friends so i didn't cry i just laughed. they did to. although it really didn't hurt that much at all.
