Dang your concept sketches are pretty much like finished pieces in themselves! X'D I'm guessing what you do is make a sketchy colored piece and save it as a png so that you can use it as a bottom layer and build up on top of it for the final piece, thus cutting back on the amount of layers you'd need to make otherwise? You probably have to do a bunch of layers anyway, but probably a lot less with the sketch included. It's pretty cool to see your process on making such detailed pieces (especially those backgrounds wow). Makes me want to attempt such a piece myself sometime using how you do concept sketches, because one of the big issues I'd run into (especially with an old computer that can't handle huge files) is the amount of layers needed to do really detailed pieces.
I am in absolute awe; I still to this day can’t get over how detailed your art is, it’s immaculate! Even the concept sketches look leagues better than what I could produce haha; you’re one of my biggest inspirations, I can’t wait to see more!
I absolutely adore how you fearlessly do so much detail into a piece. I love artworks such as this, where the artist is not forcing a focus point onto a piece of artwork. The character is clearly the focus point, but there is so much more to this piece. You put time and effort into details other than the character, allowing a viewer to look at this piece for a long time and still be picking out new interesting things to look at. I love your painting style so much
