Limitation of spinning speed is perfect, BUT in that case spin speed should be bounded with armor and weapon weight, so different configurations will act differently, it will stimulate players to balance their builds so if you are more into duels (since spinning is the main duel move) - pick lighter weapon and armor sets, if more into mass fights - go for heavy weapon and armor sets. The best way how to implement this system (IMHO) is to make player camera (and head) to move with mouse movement, but the body to require some time to catch up. (alike M&b Bannerlord systems). Also there is another potential use for this system, which is to bound the armor weight with the damage you can output, less armor - less melee DMG penalty. Same consequences, more balanced builds and any reason to not go full heavy armor just because... This mechanic will get rid of most "problems" with spin hit abuse, because it will be more difficult to spin in full armor set and one shot axes making their moves more predictable, will make PVP more hardcore and exciting, it will also make macro use difficult since there are different weapon/armor sets and will require to change the macros for every change (which sucks). And yes father Henrik is right, it should be implemented only after special moves comes.
lots of haters on here huh? the one promising thing is we;re getting an armor pen clade on. so light weapons and bows are back in the meta. imagine using a shortbow to armor pen a horse or a dude in full steel. that'd be the day lol
as much as I like to sh*t on henrik and mo2 I have to admit this is the only mmorpg I played where it handled hundreds of players on the screen in the same location pretty well. If henrik can optimize characters and the world better to say we have like 60 + fps in wars then it would just be insane
Still rampant RMT in the game. If you do play with one guild you don't experience content in another area of the map because those players hate your group. Nothing dynamic in the world. Still safe spotting to kill trolls and some spawns. Capes sold for limited time make character model larger with no increase in hitbox. Allowing an item to give an advantage to some and a disadvantage to others
This roadmap is lack luster and makes me nervous. Mainly because every time they "upgrade" the engine, it seems to break something or make performance worse. I also don't believe they will fix the "bugs" that are most relevant. I hope I'm wrong.
It would be cool if they had a system in place for momentum with attacks where you couldn't just do a spin in one direction and change the position to do a full DMG attack. Something like reduced dmg would be nice, but that would probably never happen
I hope their change of the Alvarin clade gifts will not kill a currently useful clade gift. And of cause I fear about the need to reset clades and lose many Mastery levels while doing this.
Why is the broker filters not a priority? Its such a basic bitch thing to have. Also, why is nothing alphabetized!? Wtf happened to the alphabet! Why am i the only person triggered by not using an alphabet?
Spin cap is incredibly dumb. Small scale fights will simply never end between decent players. The same with duels. It is very very easy to block the 4 directions. The spinning is a skill and helps increase the skill ceiling.
Contrary to what he claimed, Henrik didnt pronounce 'Wolfzeit' correctly even once. Not even the first time where he pronounced 'wolf' in english. Just noticed Wolfzeit merch looks more professional than mo2 official merch as well. Anyway nothing important in this stream besides confirming upcoming instancing. Sad.
Ive been playing for like two weeks and can already block 99% of swings if I can see them coming. Without a way to hide your swings combat would never end. Dumb take.
@@brando581 just like wtf guys you enjoy spinning ? its not beyblade what we are playing and the most people i know just leave the game cause of that its not like its not doable but its shit , look at other games that have awesoime medieval there are enough out there
Hide direction of the swing? Thats dumb as shit. Yeah i see people spinning in real life all the time while they fight and then fall down and get hurt cause they are fucking stupid. Maybe they should start spinning in the ufc to hide their strike. Oh wait which ever direction you spin is where the hit comes from. Get fucking smart bruh. What a dumb comment.@vigilantrebelgaming2317
@@cyr4062 I enjoy games with skill expression. particularly in full loot mmo’s because my time spent getting better will help me win fights and earn other players respect. Also your point about players leaving bc of it is completely unfounded, Im a new player and think the spins look sweet. It makes me excited to get better and play the game.
Hmmm. Don’t see stoping duping and packet injection on there. Stopping people from logging in dungeon. What year is this? 2010. This sprint is a nothing burger.
