Great video, just install the lights and they’re so much better than stock! One word of caution is that install method on the passenger side isn’t possible on a VS30 Passenger van, the DEF tank is in the way to the headlight, so you have to be extra careful with those tabs and take off from the front starting from the inside of the insert.
The BAJA Fog Lights you showed here looks great but for the regular stock Sprinter Cargo vans which came from the factory with a regular bumper with no Fog Lights, can those be fitted or does it need complex mods?
John, I want to add these to my 2021 VS30. Have you figured out a way to keep the fog lights on when using high beam headlights. The MB logic of disabling fog lights when high beams activate escapes me!
My sprinter didn't come with the fog lights, the plastic bumper is flush where the fog lights are on yours. Is there a way to replace it for an OEM mercedes one with the fog light inserts, and then install fog lights?
If you don't have factory fog lights, this kit will not work. I don't believe you have any way to mount the lights and you would have to add a switch and wiring. I am sure you could make something work but it isn't going to be plug-and-play.
@@owlvansengineering I'm going to get a new bumper, the one with the fog light cutouts and then wire the lights up to a switch.. Which BD beam pattern do you guys go for these? Wide/Cornering, spot, driving combo, or work/scene?
@@johnwillenborg thanks! yeah was definitely going to go for the pro's, but BD's still has 4 different beam patterns. Curious as to which one you guys use or have found to work best in that spot for the sprinter 🤙
Yes we have multiple locations. You can select the installation location in the product listing owlvans.com/products/sprinter-fog-light-upgrade-baja-designs?_pos=1&_sid=511bf0a6c&_ss=r
