In polynomial regression, there is generlly one independent variable and one dependent variable.When there are multiple independen variables. For exp y = b0 + b1x1 + b2x2 + b3x1x2+ b4x1^2 + b5x2^2 is a polynomial equation with two independent variables x1 and x2.
