However, historically the club has 2 League Titles (1951 & 1961) and I witnessed the club win most of its other trophies including 8 FA cups, 4 league cups, 7 Community Shield Cups, 1 European Cup winners cup and 2 UEFA Cups. Tottenham was also one of the top 5 clubs that formed the premier league in 1990. Presently the club is in a mess but can’t be ignored as an integral part of English football whether past, present or future.

As a delighted toon fan I feel so sorry for Spurs fans, but if there's any consolation, we had 13 years in the wilderness with Ashley owning the club, and it was, eventually, the fans unrest that made him want to sell up, so things can change.

One of the biggest reasons poch was sacked, IMO. He wanted to go with Juan Foyth and Aurier at right back for SOME gd reason (I guess because Levy was giving him no funds), Juan Foyth got injured before the season even started and never played for us again. and we still haven't replaced trippier and it's been how many gd years.

It's about chemistry. dont need to search the world for one of the 6 'top' coaches, you'll fire him anyway if he loses 5 straight games. what kind of confidence does that build when u have no loyalty. He's part of the reason we're in this debacle, his recruitment this summer was a total failure. Not to mention, he's tried to make his 3-4-3 work by shipping off any player that doesn't fit in this system and bringing in I dunno 500 rightbacks to try to find the right one and we still don't have one. Not to mention perisic who was brought in to fill that leftback role and rn looks a worse option than doherty who was let go for free in the winter.

it's both, playing a back 4 with 2 wingbacks that can't defend in a back 4 along with dier who needs the protection of a back 3 is just foolish. And a midfield 3 with all DMs that don't know how to progress the ball. All of our fullbacks that know how to play in a back 4 were either sold by Conte or are injured rn. Also, making such an ill advised tactical switch in one of the biggest, toughest games of the season, just asking for a disaster.

I doubt Tottenham will win any more games this season. Next year will be a relegation battle. Tottenham Hotspur put business first and do well at it but Levy's neglected the football for too long. On paper Spurs have Deki Kane and Son but look at the injury list, the squad is down to barebone in some areas. No midfielder to choose besides Hojberg/Sarr/Skipp. No fullbacks to choose besides Porro and Perisic. You see the immediate drop off when MU lost their starting CBs couple days ago. Liverpool's form improve recently when they get players back from injuries. When you have no options in team selection, the game plan and lineup are very critical, you have to set the team up correctly to get a result against an in-form team.

I was there last game when we were relegated in 77. The atmosphere was great, we sang our hearts out. After the game we were on the pitch singing like we'd won the cup final and the players took a bow.. There was spirit, the team tried hard but just were not good enough.
