Nico Williams will end up like Ndombele if u offer him 300k/week. Unbalanced wages could be a problem inside the squad itself. If we can get him at the right wages. 100% get him. 50million is a steal
Yeah, totally agree. Isn't son on like 250 or something a month? I would love Nico here but he can't be earning more then Son and ideally less then atleast Cuti and Madders too
I say yes. Pay him the 300K on a 4 year contract with a possible 2year extension after 2 years, or 200k a week with performance incentives. Ndombele was an anomaly. I don't believe you'll see something like that again
@@jeffthfcLevyIn The problem is not the money in itself but rather the structure of who gets the most money. Should or most famous, loyal, captain and maybe best player earn less then a new signing, a 21 year old at that?
Unpopular opinion, but after Eze, we just need a 9. Ange's strength is building a team around youngsters. If Bissouma and Bentancur start balling like we know they can, it's a win for us. If not, we HAVE TO start building for the future and build the team around Archie Gray and Bergvall. Up front, I am certain Brennan will come good, and so will Son. We just need that through-and-through 9; Richy isn't a bad backup, but I don't believe we're looking at all these midfield and wing options ahead of our most pressing issue, which is at 9.
Tottenham's needs to Buy 7 of these players :- 1/ Eberche Eze 2/ Ivan Toney 3/ Gudmondson 4/ Desire Doue 5/ Kubo 6/ Jean Clair Todibo 7/ Diego Costa(Goalkeeper).. "Come On You Spurs".. 👏👏👏
Tano5831 you know Sons on £250,000a week, not monthly. We’re not an oil rich , but with all the extra money making schemes that Levy introduced should give us more parity. Also players seem to want to pick Spurs once they’ve spoken to Ange. For example the Dragusin and Bergvall moves. It’s usually us who loses players when they’re about to sign.COYS.
Its about time Tottenham matched the wages i understand the transfer fee but if a player wants sertain wages and u think this player will improve the first team then give them the wage they want
Tottenham needs to get 8 of these players :- 1/ Eberche Eze 2/ Ivan Toney 3/ Gudmondson 4/ Desire Doue/Kubo 5/ Riccardo Calafiori 6/ Jean Clair Todibo 7/ Diego Costa(Goalkeeper).. "Come On You Spurs".. 👏👏👏
Modern day football is a joke! Clubs ie Chelskie and Man. City to name two who are better at back door deals than us and others. I am slowly losing my confidence in a clean game of Football without thinking was that game FIXED?!
Can’t see us getting Nico Williams. Hope we get a Striker other than depending on Richarlison. We need to move on from KWP, plus Archie can handle that position.
Hi Barnaby! Great update dude! Desire sounds exciting for spurs and Nico Williams...incredible talent....but will levy bare to let that wallet slowly open....😅 also hearing about this bs about jude Bellingham's arrogance. Who cares as long as he performs on the pitch and to be honest jude is a Gazza, if you like, for England. In my opinion he is England's best player and a different class from the other players. Coy barnaby!!
And I can’t stand people who use strong words to describe people who have a different realistic viewpoint to themselves. It’s a difference of opinion based on facts NOT wishful cult like thinking where you try to “ manifest” something that hasn’t happened for 25 years because the owners of the club fail to back their managers with anything but average players. You don’t win anything with youngsters especially those with no prior experience and having won nothing. Name me one “ youth” player at Spurs in the last five years that has reached their ceiling.
KWP would not be joining us to be a “first team player”. As a back up, multi-discipline, and Europa League player, he’s fine. You can’t have 24 first teasers - yet! Give Ange another 3 windows, with proper support, and then judge squad strength. However, please note my “proper support” caveat. Always, #COYS
UEFA needs to come to grips with these multi-club ownerships and slam shut any and every loophole that currently exists. But, somehow, I doubt they have the balls to do so. Money and corruption talk
I keep hearing this talk of Williams demanding huge wages but have never seen any comments attributed to him saying it. Only last season he was earning around 34k euros a week and he got a rise to 120 k euros at Bilbao making him one of the highest players there in a team that generally doesn't pay big wages Allowing that he has already seen a massive increase I'm not so sure that there's much truth in the rumour, Of course agents will look to get the biggest wage they can and will undoubtedly demand more than he's earning but I think the player might be more concerned about the right club than a 250 pc wage rise Word here in Spain is that he really wants Barca but they have their financial issues even though the player has a lower buyout clause than arguably his market value right now I'm not saying we'll sign him though I imagine Postie would love him
He looks superb. But he would need to start and he won’t take Van De Ven’s place, so he would have to push Udogie out of the team. You don’t pay £40m for someone to sit on the bench or cover places. Arsenal have a slot free at left back for him. Be sad to see him there.
Son clearly misses the link up with Kane. Led to many goals for him. We need a smart striker to help make Son tick again. Son shouldn’t be striker as he can’t head it or play with his back to goal.
@@FrancisRenolds its just not how it works man. In an effort to win a trophy you cant pass on players with potential along the way. Its possible to do both.
@@BurntToast8511 The title suggests that Doue is our 'TOP' target, if that's the case then we won't win anything. We need to spend on the likes of Nico Williams to challenge for a trophy.
I can already hear the Spur's fans complaining that Doue is the cheaper option than Eze, but VdV and Vicario show that this new setup can spot a gem. Hoping the Cherki rumors have some legs as well.
Tottenham is WAYYYY TOO SLOW. Seems that we wasted Calafiori potential, im pretty sure we will not get anything special in this window. Looks like we are a bit too much oriented with too young players.
Even Ferguson signed some turkeys! The two young players we have signed will be fine, as will Johnstone! Great show Barney fast becoming my go to podcaster for Spurs news! 😊
Wokegate probably hasnt changed his lucky pants since the start of the tournament and just like the team.. they are not being changed anytime. He is too short sighted to imagine you have to play attacking football as Spain do. Spain are the winners because of this.
If Southgate does play a 3-5-2 I'd like to see Trent wide right and Saka wide left. I'd put Palmer up top with Kane but would be okay with Watkins or Toney starting. Center mid I'd have Rice with Mainoo and Bellingham at CAM. This leaves Foden out and that is fine with me, he can be more useful off the bench if we need a goal. Given that Foden spends his club games luxuriously near the opponent's box all game long, I don't think he's developed an all-around game.
