@@barnabyslater_ positivity is the job description for fans. I think we sometimes forget that. Negative fans never made their team better. Eze is looking good. We need some creativity. DCM is going to be big position for us and Ederson would be a great option, but he is in CL next season and Liverpool have started flirting with him and they have CL. I’ve been impressed with Gallagher whenever I’ve seen him and he has some good physicality. We need some home grown players too. I think Edwards might come in to help with the homegrown issue and has great potential but I worry that he will be a Sancho and end up going back abroad.

@@barnabyslater_ If Levy was ruthless enough to sack Mourhino before a final, he would have been ruthless enough to sack Jose after a final and not get two years you are refering too anyway. It was down to egos on both sides and money for top 4 and compensation would have been higher had he won us a trophy. Daniel wouldn't be bothered about whether it would be harder to get rid of Mourhino had he won it. As there is a mis-alignment between what a lot of the fanbase want in getting a trophy and what the club's asperations are in getting top 4. However that is the past and I am looking forward to the future under Ange and finally going through this much needed and overdue rebuild, to put this club in a better position to challenge and hopefully win something. Anyway @barnabyslater always good and enjoyable content keep it up.😀

It's just that so many Mouringo teams have looked kinda shite, and still pull through. And it was nothing wrong with our strongest eleven, but the effect having him who they trusted to lead taken away from them was demoralising. You can win a cup final tactically and with less skilled players at times. But a demoralised side never wins anything.

It’s all subjective isn’t it. I couldn’t have handled a minute longer of Jose, and for a league cup I just don’t think it was worth it (and I still think we would have lost). Would you have taken a league cup for two more years of that football?
