Two teams continue to battle it out for the title, Burnley’s relegation was confirmed and Luton Town's survival hopes are almost gone after the penultimate weekend of Premier League football!
We’ve got a belting line-up on the sofa this week with Mark Goldbridge, super Dave Watson and my old mate Paul Robinson joining me, this is a cracking episode!!
Leandro Trossard’s solitary goal gave Arsenal a big 1-0 win against Manchester United, whilst Man City stretched their unbeaten run to 21 in the league with a comfortable 4-0 victory at Fulham.
Elsewhere we said goodbye to Burnley as they were beaten by Spurs, whereas Luton will need a miracle on the last day of the season after they were hammered at West Ham in David Moyes’ last home match in charge.
Oliver Glasner continued his superb start to life in England guiding his Crystal Palace team to another win, however, could Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise be subject to big money moves in the summer transfer window?!
Staying in London, Chelsea’s return to form has them on the brink of a European spot for next season, but could Mauricio Pochettino be leaving?! Plus we have a banging Quiz to end the show!!!

I think maybe Arsenal played how they intended to play. All the matches this season where United were really competitive and surprised teams like Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea, etc...; the game devolved to mayhem at some point. I think Arsenal planned on scoring as soon as they could and just making sure it didn't devolve from there. Avoiding chaos was their plan.

Maybe the Premier League as a whole could set aside monetary bonuses to quality promoted players in a championship league team. This would incentivize internationals to come to play on a top championship squad. Even going as far as scaling bonuses could be worked into how long a player stays on a promoted team and how well they do the next season in the PL. Probably a horrible idea but just a thought.

Goldbridge seem to be losing it a bit with his constant compulsive and undifferentiated ManCity ranting. They can buy Gardiol for £77mio (not £90) = nearly the same as Harvertz and "allow him to ease into the team", like Havertz, but in Gardiol's case it is sign of Jargenautinism and in Arsenal's case it is professionalism in spotting and training. Used to like him. No, I am not a City fan, but what they call a "neutral".

Hahah Mark repeatedly saying Arsenal weren't great.... That's exactly what they wanted out of the game. The only way Utd were going to score was on the break. So by Arsenal sitting back a bit and allowing Utd to pass the ball side to side all day, they knew they'd keep a clean sheet. All Arsenal had to do was score and they'd get the 3 points. Tactically, Arsenal were great. Everything went to plan, therefore, they played well.

I don't think mark really gets it, as spurs fans we have to be realistic. We are so terrible at the moment that there is literally no point being in the champions league next season anyways. We would much rather do what we can to stop arsenal winning the league than keep the already tiny chance that we could overtake villa, just to be pumped 18-0 by porto in the group stage next season. I think arsenal fans angry about this "small club" attitude are kidding themselves if they think they would feel any different if the roles were reversed.

Ignoring the Arsenal winning the league moment. All Spurs fans want trophies, CL isn't realistic and Europa gives us a chance. Whilst qualifiing for CL when we have a Ange squad thats more suitable for his playing style in the following year. So thats my thoughts on why I don't mind not getting top 4. Even if its winning to City and losing to Sheffield. Don't care about Arsenal, but it goes without saying I don't want them to finish 1st.
