you did a mistake cathode is negatively charged and anode is positively charged

Great lecture RK. Found a gem of a video. Your explanations are quite clear to me. Kindly interchange the cathode and anode terminal. The cathode is NEGATIVE terminal and anode is POSITIVE terminal.

Sir ne cathode and anode k sign mix kr diye but diagram perfect hai . So don't worry aap sign change kr len . Anode (+)terminal connected with substrate and cathode(-)terminal connected with target source .

Thank you so much sir...i am from pakistan ... I have some questions relating to this topic ...would you plz reply? Ap k reply se or b bht se logon k mind me aye ques k ans mil jain gy ... My first ques is Jesa ap ne kaha k source material and ionized material ka size relevant hona chaey... Jesy silicon k liye argon use ki gai to ager hum silicon se koi bary atomic no and size wali metal len to us k according argon ki jgha konsi gas use ho? gi

Argon is only used for formation of plasma between Target and substrate. Those gases which easily ionized into ions are used in sputtering for formation of plasma.

@@rkphysicspoint sir mujy mera ans nhi mila.. Mera ques hy k plasma creation k liye hamesha argon he use ho gi kiya? Chahy hamary target ,source ya substrate me silicon k ilawa koi or b metal ho ?

Kindly koi btaye ga k argon ne jb source material ko target kiya to waha se metal k atoms jo bahir aty hain wo substrate ki tarf attract kiu hoty kisi? Means unko kiya chez puch ker rahi k bas substrate ki tarf jana hy
@lemiyt4420
@lemiyt4420 7 месяцев назад
atoms of source material are ejected and travel toward substrate due to the positive polarity of substrate
@manishmamgain6908
@manishmamgain6908 17 часов назад
@@lemiyt4420 bro it means that source material would have negative charge but look sir said that first electron ejection will occur from source material which means source material would get positive ions now if Ar+ is bombarded with the source material and that caused source material ions to ejection so still why they are attracted towards the +ve substrate terminal as they are also having +ve charge.
