Yep, plus it does nothing to block audio. Easiest way is to go into your setup and disable the webcam driver while not in use. No one can connect to it not even the user of the laptop until it's been enabled. It's free on top. lol

@@usernamepassword9728 actually if somebody is connected via RAT to user's laptop and that RAT has administrator privileges, attacker can easily enable the driver. But personally I think many people are too anxious about their privacy. I do not care if somebody from other part of the world who knows nothing about me will see my face via camera or listen me via mic speaking in my native language which is not widely used :-D . Moreover most integrated cameras have LEDs which turns on when camera is enabled.

@@JohannesWOW It all depends on the setup. Im always logged in as a user not admin. Therefore, it requires an Admin password anytime you try to make changes to the system settings. There are a whole bunch of other ways to thhwart a hacker. You are basic.

@@cherylsullivan2501 If you don't know the guy it might be a good idea to call authorities depends on what the situation is. If you do know him make sure you aren't giving him mixed signals and communicate clearly your boundaries and that you are not interested. Really depends on situation and how well you know the person and your history with them. There are definitley some stalker types out there but woman are hard to understand for men at the best of times and often there can be confusion if the person is just playing hard to get or if they geniunely aren't interested. I would ask someone who knows a little more on the situation, like a friend or family member. I think common sense might be your best option if the situation is reminding you of "basic instict" or "silence of the lambs" type of behavior it would defiinitely warrant getting help immediately. But if its more like "dumb and dumber" or" something about mary" and the person is just awkward or lacks social skills. Make sure you have clearly stated that you want no contact or that you only want to be friends so there is no miscommunication by either party and that could stop whatever behaviour is concerning you. Go with your gut, and at minimum, let someone you trust know about it and seek their counsel. Good Luck!
