Check out twisted road and rider share. Like airbnb for bikes. You could run your own rental fleet that way.

My old VW mechanic would deliberately set my valves so they could be heard. His reasoning. If you can hear 'em you know they are function ing. Never had a problem. Thus the saying. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!! Lol Stay safe.

That's what I was on about that time Shawn when I said I could hear that RT you were riding was whining, like you said they all do it, some louder than others! I put it down to the straight cut gears & the belt tension/harmonics & you've just confirmed it! 👍😆 I know a lot of Spyder owners were concerned that it could be the output shaft bearing but that's not the case ... What a relief! That output shaft shearing off on the RT must be a one off ... No doubt something's gone wrong when it was cast? Great vlog mate 👍😁 Beanie

Wow, that was really something all the transmission equipment, You were really liking the handling of that Spyder, it always amazes me how bikes have that extra thing that makes You like that bike more than another same model & equipped bike. Thanks for taking Us along for the ride.

Awesome! My brother and I, along with our wives will be there. We are staying at the KRIVER campground in Cabin #5. It says that it sleeps 6-8 people so there might be an extra bed with us if you have trouble finding a place.

I would guess $125-175 a day. In Myrtle Beach it was $175 a day for a Indian like the street glide.

Works out to be $135.5 per day, for 6 days for a 2019 Road King... But I added all the insurance, etc that they had available. I didn't really think it was bad, but it adds up quick over 6 days... Lol Thanks!

TheSmoaksVlogs Yea it does. I’m glad you are getting to go. I’m having neck surgery on the 10th (originally it was the 19th) so it all fell apart for my trip. I’m going to go back after I’m all better. I’ve got family In Oklahoma so it’ll be a great trip even with out the Harley rally to break the record 😎😎

That's crazy the semiautomatic and SM6 have the same gearbox except for the semiautomatic cover. I have a 2015 RTS SM6.

I'll bet that shaft had a crack in it from the time it was made that caused it to finally shear. How much more would you need to take Kelly to Texas with you? I think she needs a vacation just as much as you do, if not more. Peace and love.

Hey Shawn Smoak, Be sure to look up bike rentals on "turo". I know in the Vegas area it's about 75% cheaper then using a regular rental place. I've rented spyders from them and it worked out great. So excited to know you're able to go to Texas. Love all the great info you are able to share with us through your vlog's. Really looking forward to the trip. Thank you guys really appreciate all you do!

Thanks Jim, I looked at them, along with others, but Turo doesn't seem to rent Harley's... I have to be on a Harley to qualify for the world record. EagleRider, though spendy, seems to have the best reputation and hassle-free service. Thanks again for your help!! Take care.

Renting a trike from Eagle in a few weeks. That is pricey, but their service is pretty good, plus unlimited miles.
