I've got this knife in M390. Its so light weight its incredible. I love the KME mirror edge I put on it. There are blade centering techniques using a cotton bud and follow a specific screw tightening sequence.
When I first saw a Spyderco, I thought they looked weird. The minute I used a Spydeyhole, I decided I didn’t like thumb studs. I just ordered a Para 3 Salt in Magnacut. Looking forward to getting it.
Great detail review!! And, your the only one who ever did mentioned compression-lock patent expires 2021!!! My just purchased an exclusive Para 3 LW in, fun, Teal colored scales & more importantly steel in S90!! Perfect compliment for super lightweight EDC, while still compact & stout!!
Great review. I also own the P3LW and the blade was perfectly centered right out of the box on mine. It even stayed centered after I slightly loosened the pivot to improve the action. I love the P3LW. My favorite piece.
I have a Para 3 lightweight whose wire clip kept popping out from under the fastener head. So I replaced it with a 3rd party “spoon” clip. Otherwise, I love the knife and carry it everyday. Great knife review video..!
Great review. I just picked up the native in maximet. Your video is great in piinting out the features. First knife with maximet. Extremely sharp out of the box. Lol forward to seeing how it ages
Great review. I have the P3LW and also just got a Native 5 LW. I’m surprised how much more refined and just an over all quality of the frn on the native. The frn on the P3LW has sharp edges.
Is it common to put a washer on only one side? Or was Spyderco cheaping out? Wouldn't it make sense to have a washer on both sides?? Is teh PM2 the same? Are all Spyderco's like this?? YOu never mentioned...
Yep, the lightweight versions grow on you. Funny how you think they are cheaper, then you start to appreciate how easy they are to carry around, especially in the summer.
