Excellent video review! I have been contemplating the purchase of this knife for a while and you've convinced me to look at other options. Thank you for saving me from another catch and release! I'll definitely be watching more of your videos.
I just bought it, love it. You must have some huge hands. The hole is perfect and i can put my thumb in it. It’s perfect size, similar to my lil native. Those are the only 2 little knives in my collection.
I have small hands so for me the Techno 2 is a good knife, I use it at work and EDC, I’ve added a lanyard bead for using all 4 fingers, the only thing that I don’t like about it is the price. Everyone are different.
subscribing. Like your voice and your editing style. And taste for smaller knives. In the sub 2.5” range in my collection is the TRM nerd and olamic busker I wonder if you’ve gotten a chance to check either out. I think the choil on the nerd May be a problem for your fingers
George brother, you are one brave man to say to a woman how many purses do you have. I would never have the guts to do that. If I don't see another video within the week I will call the Police to do a welfare check. Interesting little Spyderco. I am like you, I have big hands. And this looks like its for people with much smaller hands. Nice knife, but that price. Wow. Take care, stay safe brother.
I have always had several Spyderco knives. I prefer the flat pocket clips rather than the wire. I can't open my spider hole knives with my thumb alone any more since I dislocated my right thumb several years ago. Good review George, you covered all the elements quite well.
Great review George, as always. You nailed the problems with this knife, especially for the price. If you want to check out a small Spyderco take a look at the Brouwer. It's only a little bigger but the ergonomics are so good at a much lower price. The best available knife designed by Slysz is probably the Spyderco SpydieChef. You can spend more for a knife than the $230 for a SpydieChef but you are not going to get a lot more knife. Keep up the good work and stay safe up in the NCR.
Good review thanks. I don't have a lanyard for my spydercos yet, but I recently started thinking I wanted one. I was glad you mentioned them, and went to search for your lanyard video and didn't see any. Maybe that's another video some day lol.
It’s made in Taichung Taiwan...Best production factory in the world. And I always say Buy American hire American. The knives coming from this plan are epic.
Guessing this knife is a great fit for someone out there but definitely not you. I think that in the end, knives are fairly personal. So, one man's trash can often be another man's treasure. Thanks, for the informative, honest and candid video.
