I am hyped as fuck for the new reboot series, growing up all I ever did in my free time was play Crash and Spyro and now they're both remastered 90's and 2000's kids rejoice!!!!!
Sheep:"The dragon almost killed all of my kind, my family is dead, my friends are dead, I was the only survivor when he attacked, though I barely made it out alive, and now I'm in a constant state of misery" Spyro:"That's rad"
This is my first time seeing these commercials. The way I found out about Spyro was through magazine adds and short game play videos when the internet first came out. My mom used to be friends with the game's artist Craig Stitt at the time and he sent us Spyro 2 t shirts.
Well that's how he's portray in America, when he's portray in Japan, he's rather friendly in the various artwork for the japanese release for the first two Spyro games
@@trainlover16 yeah same thing on how crash bandicoot is portray as being less aggressively in the japanese cover art for various crash bandicoot games
@@Mr.Feather130 Yes. If anything, Crash is less aggressive than Spyro. I love Spyro so much because of how nice he is to his friends, yet ruthless to his enemies.
Man, I remember seeing that snowman and those sheep commercials all the time as a kid! If and when the Reignited Trilogy comes to the Nintendo Switch, I'm absolutely looking forward to finally playing the original trilogy!
Listening to the soundtrack and the snowman ad popped into my head. Came here to find it. Amazing what your brain decides to remember forever. As an adult, I can now recognize that ad was a parody of The Blair Witch Project. Makes me wonder what the marketing people were thinking. How many 90s kids saw Blair Witch?
Eh you have to remember those KidsWB sweepstakes was back when the internet was young so a lot of Americans didn't know much about England outside of those who travelled to it and what they were taught in school or saw on TV.
@@coolman5242 Yeah. I remembered wanting to be a princess before looking up how you are essentially a figurehead now and princesses had to marry their own family or whatever due to a longstanding superiority complex.
0:51 When I was a kid, I thought he said "Four scary lakes", which made me think the game only had 4 levels, and they were all Lake themed. Suddenly I was not so interested anymore. I was a dumb kid.
Dude, Spyro was a dick in the commercials. Also, holy shit, Spyro 3 was happening around the same time as Jackie Chan Adventures? How the fuck did I miss it??
Sony: "hey we need a cute, kid-friendly character to compete with Mario and the Legend of Zelda, let's use this charming little purple dragon!" Also Sony: "Now let's have the ad campaign make him out to be a cocky psychopath who harms innocents for fun" What the fuck?
Hello, Jarrett Smith. Yes it was. Jackie Chan Adventures and a Spyro series were around during the PS1 era. What if a crossover between Jackie Chan Adventures and Spyro the Dragon were a PlayStation video game known as "Jade Chan: Ripto's Rage"?
I dunno! It actually worked on me as a kid. like "WOAH, I can burn everything in my way? I gotta play this!" It made spyro seem cool and cocky, and I love those characters.
does anybody know spyro maximum running speed in original trilogy in miles per hour aka how fast is spyros maximum running speed in original trilogy in miles per hour I'd like 2 know thanks in advance 2 all replies
