Spyro Reignited Trilogy - All Three Games Hands-On!

Not to mention they don't seem to understand you can jump higher if you just hold the jump button down for a second, 2:30 I never struggled to get into that well, and I was six when I first played the original.

I was starting to wonder if it was broken or something, or the motion from moving at charge speed in HiDef 3D was too jarring. Watching other people play games poorly is painful lol

@Attention Span Zero On Xbox One you can simply press the right trigger for the Spyro trailer. So I still wish they implemented this demo with some secret code.

DeltaGem new content comes in game patches all the time. It's more common in multiplayer games but there's absolutely nothing stopping Activision/Toys for Bob from releasing a Spyro demo as a patch for the N-Sane Trilogy. It would make sense to put the exact same demo on the PS/Xbox Live stores as a free download for those who do not have the N-Sane Trilogy (or perhaps own it for PC or Switch, as Spyro has not yet been announced for either of those platforms).

It would be cool if you could use the code from Spyro 2 to access a playable demo from Crash Team Racing Remastered. :P.

The only complaint I have is the look of the baby dragon on the third demo, I definitely think they could have done better with them.

I think it must be said, loud, in bold text: SPYRO 2 AND SPYRO 3 WERE NOT DONE CORRECTLY! (the remakes added Continuity Errors with character dialogue) Please port the retro PS versions of Spyro on Xbox with enhanced control stick mapping. Luckily there is no logo to deal with if the games are re-released on Xbox Series digital download. It should be smoother legalwise than Crash Bandicoot's original trilogy. Also, Microsoft's competitor does not hold any copyright to Crash Bash, while we're at it.

Agreed, but what also bothers me is the opening animation, I know they will change it though given what they've done already.

Since its a remake im expecting everything to feel and look a bit odd, so once i get used to playing i dont think the new dragon models or the baby dragons on 3 will bug me to much. i think the main thing i'll need to get used to is the new voices XD

I agree, the baby dragons look really stiff and lifeless. Bit disappointing, but as you said, hopefully they’re still yet to be tidied up.

I noticed that too :D So glad the Gem finder is going to be in all 3 games ;) Also the barrel roll Spyro had in the first game, is going to be in all 3 games too. You see it being used in gameplay from 'Sunny Villa' :P

I hope it's just a cheat code or an unlockable feature later on in the game. Otherwise it makes 100% too easy if you have the ability from the start.

my guess is you could gain the ability either from beating gnasty gnorc, or from playing the sparx level in spyro 3 and then you can backtrack between the other games as needed. similar to how in N. Sane Trilogy you can get the running shoes in crash 2. however, if you have the ability from the start, no one is making you use it. it's specifically for inexperienced collectors or people who have spent ages looking for a single red gem or something; no harm done to have an optional feature. in fact, it's an already a feature in the entirety of original spyro 2 with no unlocking but no one complains that spyro 2 is 100% too easy as a result. they either use it or they don't

pepper as long as it's not an ability that's flat out given away in a tutorial, it's all good. I just think it's better if new players actually do the gem-locating themselves first especially since Spyro 1 is purely collectables. Players generally find out about the feature through external sources much later on when it's just the shoulder button cheat - useful for gems you haven't been able to find for ages.

It had better be an unlockable like in Spyro 3. It takes away any challenge the game had.

The gaming industry conditioned new gamers into not being able to do something unless the game hold their hands, sometimes when i watch youtubers play old games i get triggered so much when they spend the entire game without ever trying all the buttons on their controller, like the guy who spend the whole 50 hours of play complaining about the camera when he could just turn it around by pressing R or L but he never tried.

Charging is great when you're playing indeed, but displaying all the new areas and artwork is appreciated too for a display of something we can't play yet and analisis.

@@Bertee510 I don't have an Internet connection. Believe it or not there are still people out there who don't have it. I know at least 10 people who don't have it. In fact I can't think of anyone I know who does. It's another monthly bill I can't afford right now. That's why I'm complaining. Other people talk about the servers in 10 years but I dont care about that. I just want to be able to play the game now. It fuckin sucks I won't be able to unless I find somewhere to hook my system up to the Internet. Which for me is harder then it sounds. Internet shouldn't be a requirement to game.

Ok do me a a solid and look up someone installing borderlands handsome collection When doing this the disc took me to a private sector were I could damlod them They were damloded on the xbox but to play you need the disc that more then likely what going to happen People just dont understand that all

EEVEE MASTER I understand that some games are like that, especially given how much content the handsome collection had, but there is no need for the reignited trilogy to be that way. Activision released the Crash Bandicoot N-sane trilogy (which is the same size and scale as the spyro trilogy) with all 3 games on the disc, so why can't they do it with this trilogy?

@@eeveemaster8902 sometimes talking with your wallets is the only way to get major game publishers to listen. If the issue of downloading 2 & 3 is still in effect once the trilogy is released, physical sales will have to take a large hit. I will be buying the physical copy regardless but, if I need those downloads, it will take me several days before I have all 3 because of my slow internet.
