Sqn Ldr Sarfaraz Ahmed Rafiqui (July 18, 1935 - September 6, 1965) known for bravery and courage in two of the aerial combats Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, and is a recipient of both the Hilal-e-Jurat (Crescent of Courage) and the Sitara-e-Jurat (Star of Courage).

Sarfraz rafieqe deserve nishan hyder..true air war hero of 1965 war..shot 2 vampire on 1 sep and one nat over halwara..he had to go with 8 saber as pathakot air base destroyed by sajjad hyder formation but sargodha base was committed at lahore border and he went with 3 saber instead of 8...his gunns jamed after shooting down one nat pver halwara but he not left the battel field and while gaving cover to cecil ch he embarced shahadat. Can any pilot of a y other force can do such bravery a d sacrifiese....no sir no one can ...

Planes being shown in clip are Chinese F-6, acquired after 1965 war, then how could Rafique fly them. What I think he flew F-86 Sabre while on his last sortie.....

Good Drama, but the officers are wearing the Hijri medal and the Quaid's Centenary medals as these medals were issued more than a decade later. These minor details make a lot of difference for such historical dramas.

U can write about Nats but reality is there was no match of pAF pilots in 1965 air war..even there is no comparison with IAF..pl read exact history of independent authous..
