So good to see one of my favorites game expanding! :D I can't wait for the infantry gameplay overhaul now, it will make Squad even better!!!!

Offworld is absolutely on a roll with the updates for the last year and a half; the Australian faction, the USMC, the PLA, Irregular Militia rework along with new content for them, map reworks, amphibious capabilities, now the PLANMC and Russian VDV factions, and the infantry combat overhaul for sometime in the future. Bravo!

At this point, the devs should add a map or two that takes place in a Southeast Asian countryside… Seeing Chinese soldiers in Europe is weird

I had my doubts about the new management and devs in squad but good on you guys, you seem to be doing a whole lot better with all these new changes, despite what i thought would happen.

I love when the PLAMC said “it’s squadding time” and proceeded to SQUAD all over the place

kinda odd to drop a 5.0 trailer saying the update is available when it isn't, video must of been preset to go live at a certain time, I can't wait for this kind of trailer for the combat overhaul it's gunna look so cool

The devs are going hard. They are releasing these faction updates while overhauling gunplay and main gameplay mechanics.

Very happy with the new factions. I always liked the Chinese PLA and the European EU Force in Battlefield. Because the US and Russia factions get bored over time. You already know everything about each side and everything becomes absolutely typical. I want more variety. And other troops can still surprise, they have their own unique weapons and their own tactics.

When you said V5.0 was "available now", my steam client determined that was a lie.

This trailer gave me nostalgia for Battlefield 2's opening cinematic Outpost is being overrun

Now it just needs structure destruction and it will be the best mil sim game of all time.

The only thing I didn’t like about the trailer was the “shots fired shots fired!” part. These aren’t police lmao, if you’re in contact it’s implied shots are being fired.

I really hope this game makes its way on consoles one day!!!! It would be a must have game for me!!!!

When's the infantry overhaul gonna be included in the base game?

Just some feedback. The game is too slow for 100 players now, i like the approach of the overhaul but it would need like 200 players on a server to make it worth the immersion to realism it brings. You make it harder and harder to get to the interesting parts of the gameplay. Realism isnt the problem, as said its alright to increase the player count so more memorable and immersive gameplay moments appears. Make squad sizes selevtable and able to go up to 13 and give people 200 players on a server, it would be amazingly revolutionary, the maps feel so empty right now that aint realistic either, as well as that there simply arent enough resources in terms of players to make realistic use of war strategy. We would love squad to be that game put you got realistic vehicles, map sizes, guns, scopes but what you are missing are the teamwork capabilities to match these, and also memorable immersive moments on a broad scale of curse.

its time to add japan faction! Cause japan have territory conflict with both china and russia, we will be able to see chinese marine , vdv and japan marine landing battle on the conflict islands, even farther we will be able to see the first sub tropical battle map on squad! Also japan have a good amount of self made military equipments, i couldn't see why not
