Going for the turret is one of the most underrated tactics. Once the turret is jammed it's almost impossible for the enemy crew to coordinate to aim the entire vehicle
Generally short distances I go for the turret and longer I go for the track then turret. At long distances it’s more important to go for the track to be able to hit follow up shots more accurately since they’re no longer moving but at short distances it’s a non-issue because it’s less distance, therefore less time from firing to hit and less distance you need to lead. I don’t have a hard and fast rule, because it depends on map conditions (fog, sand, etc.) and target size (T-72 has a smaller silhouette than an Abrams) but generally it’s about 150m I switch to track, sometimes longer
Thank you for the kind words and it’s an enjoyable game when you’ve a community to play it with. And on the topic of content, it’ll be coming back when I’m no longer Covid contagious and can get back to my rig! Which should be soon… hopefully..
Thanks man, my friends and I have fun with it. I’m feeling like I want to work with the IFVs more now, because I play them a lot like tanks as well and I want to be more efficient as a direct support to infantry.
i think the only more satisfying cannon in the game *may* be the CTAS, but that's if you're listening to it externally. BMP is still the best from in the 'pit.
True but I could have conveyed to them where the enemy was better. We talked about some of these clips and one of the things I need to improve on is conveying what is happening to the rest of my crew so they can do their job optimally as well.
