Just a couple of extra points. In the above video Conor mentions that Firpo came into the game late. Well he did say in an interview that he started his football career as a striker and then got moved to play out wide as a winger before dropping back to play full back so this would account for is lack of positional awareness at full back. The other thing is, anybody noticed how when we are playing well and the result is going well Farke is stood on the touchline and when it’s the opposite case more often than not he’s sat down in the dug out not engaging with anybody coaching staff or players.

Rutter is a big personality and he’s likeable but if a team matched what we paid for him we should snatch their hand off. Moments of brilliance is great to watch but consistency is what we need in the championship.

We need to be more ruthless in all areas, especially up front. And we need a leader in the pitch. Onwards and upwards. M.O.T.

This is a very serious point. An optician I was speaking to who is a Liverpool fan but quite likes Leeds United made a strange but valid suggestion.That Rutter may have a slight vision problem. He asked whether Georginio wore glasses or contact lenses. He thinks if he does, he might need them slightly adjusting. He says the lad is constantly off target by a long way. Sometimes not even close. The goal he scored against Norwich was also nearly missed from quite close proximity. Also that he tends to bump into as well as runs through players rather than dribbling clearly around them. The latter which has become famously now part of his game. Sometimes we scone and make fun of these actions in games, but I honestly think he may have a point. Manchester United’s Nobby Stiles had debilitating vision problems throughout his career but kept quiet about it. Somehow he still won everything including the World Cup.

Firpo exceptional 😂 compared to his usual disastrous form only. Doing the occasional good cross when he can be arsed to overlap isn't enough. Compared to Davis he's horrendous!

Basically not getting promoted is a disaster. We will have virtually no squad left. Farke will have to start all over again. How on earth are we going to find the number and quality of players we need before the start of next season, bearing in mind they'll all have to bed in straight away?

Not convinced about Rutter, when you look at all the class dribblers they are clean dribblers, drop a shoulder or side step and they glide, when Rutter dribbles it's like he's in a pinball machine.

Conor I agree with almost everything you said apart from Firpo. The opposition always target that side as our weakness and will continue to do so. I know he gets caught forward a lot but I just think think his general defending isn't good.

Liam Cooper Keep is no surprise. He should be part of the squad.

I'm not sure the Firpo is a LB, I think he's better playing a bit further forward

Interesting . a few names that should be in the keep column but are down as leaves because of neglect - Gyabi, Cresswell and Geldhart never really got the chance to prove themselves due to the active squad only containing 13 players. And Piroe as a keep? for what purpose. He isnt a striker in this set up, nor is he a midfielder. And of course you missed out a person. Farke should be in the "should leave" column.

One of the best teams leeds have had since bielsa feel they needed to have been pushed a little harder though. Only 3 points diff from bielsa championship winning team. 90 points in any other championship season would have got us up. I'm so proud of this young side.

I think the Leeds fans who actually left the stadium minutes before the final whistle should stop supporting the club, thats a disgrace. Kudos to the ones that stayed until the end and shared the pain with the players. Mes, firpo, shacks, greenwood, gnonto, Summerville, piroe and bamford can all go for me. That should get around 80-90 million and allow us to bring in 5-6 if we use loan market well. 2 full backs a keeper a 10 and a 9 and some squad players should be enough to win the league imo.

I recall a chap called Vardy (that no one wanted) : keep in mind that those (all) PLAYERS have the ability to improve (age excepted) - under the right management! Your observation is erudite...unfortunately 'eudaimonia' is being stifled by Farke.

If I'm being honest Firpo and Gray (if you keep him) as a wingback in a back three would be insane and if you managed to get a back three system working you'd be an autos favourite with the large quality dip in the next championship season with how weak the teams coming down are. Will Farke play a back 3 though? I've never seen him field a back 3 when he was at Gladbach or at Leeds now, granted the formations shown on google aren't fully accurate (Southampton vs Leeds at Elland road google showed a 4-3-1-2 formation for Southampton which was apparently a 3-5-2).

I’d be amazed if rodon comes back, I’d love it if he did but someone like Nat Phillips could be an alternative and available at half price. He’s not as good as rodon granted but he’d be comfortable playing at this level and that’s what we need.

Hard to disagree but i would retain Bamford. We need another number 9 for sure but i think his experience is key. I do however think hes gone, for him not to travel with the squad to Wembley speaks volumes.

If that’s what Leeds brings next season, expect to stay down again. Thats not enough to compete with Luton and Burnley. I’d expect Norwich, West Brom, Hull and possibly Borough or Coventry to make serious upgrades.

I still hear the excuses for Farke , he's given credence for last summer's debacle regarding the behind the scenes stuff. Can people now have the realisation that this incoming preseason is gonna far more difficult?! Now would be the time to dispense of Farke's services and give a new guy a go, whatever happens they'd be building a new team, it took Farke two years to do this at Norwich, what makes people think he's the man after the what he's just destroyed, he's a complete failure and his tenure at this club should end. I think Struijk will also be on the leave list, gonna be more than interesting, mate.

I d like to see gyabi have a chance. Apparently he was good in no. 10 at Plymouth.

I firmly believe we will be one of the strongest teams next season, none of the teams coming up will replicate what ipswich did and none of the teams coming down will be as strong as leicester, leeds or southampton. So I still think depending on how our transfer window goes we will be up there again.

Looks like we have alot of work to do if that's anywhere close to what's going to happen.

As much as I love Georgi, realistically is he going to stay if a decent offer comes in from a Bundesliga or French side? He is a sellable asset and a bit of a luxury. If we can get good money then we could buy a couple of decent first team players. Got to be starting Josef next year and want to see a different style of play. Still feels a bit square pegs in round holes.

Gk, 2 or 3 cbs, lb, rb, 2 mids that can actually pass forward and shoot, a striker. If rutter stays he has to be on the wing cus hes a liability/ luxury in the middle of the park. And we most certainly need a 10/ playmaker, set piece specialist. Our set pieces must be bottom of the division, corners and free kicks have all season been shocking. We desperately need someone who can deliver a decent ball at least once in a game instead of 0. Rutter just isnt a 10, hes selfish, diesnt play the right pass a lot and cant shoot for shit. As our midfield has in essence contibuted no assists or goals in open play( can only think of gruev freekick) we desperately need a better midfield

A lot of who we keep or let go is down to how much you rate a player or not and of course FFP or P&S R come into it as well not sure how much wriggle room there is in that to bring a raft of players in for next season. For what it’s worth I would let Gnonto go he’s averaged as many rotten games as good games since he’s been at the club. I’m not sold on Rutter ether, if we ever get that number ten playmaker can’t see where Rutter would fit into a starting eleven plus you can’t have player like Rutter playing in the position he plays that doesn’t score goals or even hit the target. Think I would keep Joffy as well and have Gyabi back paid £5m for him so there must be a player there somewhere and we are criminally short midfielders at the club and have been all season. Of course a lot of these player choices depend on finances and whether Farke stays at the club or not, we all know by now he has favourites amongst the first team squad and wedded to the 4231 formation but if another coach comes in that will all change with players already here and formation.
