Thanks WingAddict! The Kitewings work great on ice, they hold shape in heavy wind and carry apparent wind speed through the lulls. The 4.6 in the video is a high aspect design that is a little bit less steady but faster with reduced drag, which is great on ice. I am using GS racing skis with a radius of 35 meters. The longer the radius, the faster the ski goes on a straight line, but takes longer to come around on a carved gybe. Anything between 30 and 40 meters will work fine. I also kite ski in soft snow conditions, but Kitewings are more fun on ice and heavy wind.

Good one Mark! I used to compete in Freestyle Skiing (1979-1991) and there was music blaring on the hill during our competitions.
