Ohhh - the juniper is looking great! Looking forward to future updates on how the repotting went. I totally forgot you had a rock underneath - I like the new planting angel. I have a real love/hate relationship with my squamata. Love it when it's healthy and pushing new growth. Hate it cause I'm always holding my breath for it to drop its branches.

Dude I’m totally with you with the whole “now or never” thing. I did a couple of those this spring because it was either “repot or probably die.” Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Not worth having a tree that’s so far gone. Cheers bro.

Cheers bro, yeah exactly. let alone the fact i didn't have any alternative pots, it was either going in the ice cream pot or the colander ...so those roots where coming off no matter what lol

Is it possible to do a juniper in upright or broom style? It seems like everything is some version windswept.

yeah you can do anything you want. junipers are naturally low bushes that grow sideways, so probably why so many of them end up styled that way, people just work with the natural growth pattern
